Wayne got tired of waiting for someone to respond and decided to tackle it himself. 😂 With a little ingenuity, he managed to reach the borrowed excavator around the corner and into the goat pen to break everything up. Unfortunately, he still had to shovel it all out by hand. 💪🐐

We’re definitely going to have to come up with a better plan for regular maintenance going forward, because I don’t think either of us wants this to become an every-few-months adventure! 😂

The goat babies got an upgrade! 🐐🔨

Wayne’s latest creation: their very own pull-up goat door! A little wire, a little ingenuity, and up it goes like a tiny garage door…or goat guillotine, depending on how dramatic you want to be. 😂

Just one more custom feature at SideTrax Stables for our spoiled little goat crew. ❤️

I swear, Wayne can build just about anything!

The goat boys got a little barn upgrade! 🐐🌾

We made these individual hay feeders for their stall, and I’m pretty happy with how they turned out! Everyone gets their own spot at the buffet, the hay stays up off the floor, and hopefully we’ll have a whole lot less hay being stomped on and wasted.

Of course, the boys’ only concern is whether we remembered to keep them fully stocked. 😂

Sometimes the simple DIY projects are the best ones!

It’s been a full and fun week at SideTrax Stables! 🐴❤️

Eleanor is just a few lessons away from completing our Level 4 program, and this week she hit another exciting milestone—her very first lope! 🎉🐎 She’s getting so close to finishing Level 4!

Harper and Grayson mixed things up with a little bit of everything this week. They tried the flag race, barrels, and even some pole bending…although around here it’s technically cone bending for now. 😂🐴

And we ended on a high note as Sophia completed her Level 1 assessment and earned her certificate! 🎉🏆

Congratulations, Sophia! We love watching our students build their skills, try new things, and reach those milestones along the way. ❤️🐴

One of our students, Eleanor, is getting ready to start farrier school! 🐴❤️

She stopped by while our farrier was here working on Micah and had the chance to get a little hands-on experience trimming feet and learning along the way.

She starts school soon, and we’re so excited for her as she takes this next step! 🔨🐴 We can’t wait to watch her learn and grow in her new career.
