Attn: Dog trainer friends the annual memo must have went out. Already had three clients call talking about wanting to take dogs hunting that haven’t even finished the basic program. Dove, teal, wood duck and early goose season is a month away yet. Clients the dogs are your you can do what you want but you will either have to live with the bad habits you let them get by rushing them to hunt and not being done with a program or pay someone to fix them problems. I personally don’t hunt a dog until it handles and I get it I have options with multiple dogs. But you aren’t doing a young started gun dog to hunt justice. They are trained but if not completed the program it’s a recipe for disaster, even if they have completed the program we can’t fully simulate the real deal so they need some on the job training. Barn burner hunts with a bunch of guns isn’t gonna help you pup at all to start it’s hunting career. Do what is best for your pup not your ego. This weighs heavily on me every year so I’m making this post to help folks understand. PFA

Welcome back Maddie owned by Chris Hackmann. She’s from the our client Kevin Long’s 3xGRHRCH Razor MH x HRCH Dixie MH 2.0 litter. She completed her basic this spring and went home for a break. Now we get to work on her advanced training and run tests. She’s smart and fast! Extremely talented and stylish!

Little late in posting but we ran the Treasure State HRC test before coming home. Thanks to the judges club members and workers for putting in a most excellent event. Picked up some ribbons, couple titles and a few lessons.

HR Kodi owned by Mike Hough picked up his title pass Saturday
New UH
GRRCH UH Raven MH QAA2 500 pts.
W/MN Pass picked up her upland hunter with 1 pass
Champ picked up his 3rd pass In Seasoned Saturday but 2 weekends in a row were a little much for the young lad.
He broke Sunday on the walk up. We will get that last pass for seasoned title soon.
HRCH Diesel MH w/2 Grand Passes owned by Kevin Long picked up a finished pass and now needs 60pts to get that Grand title
HRCH Riot MH w/Grand Pass & MN Plate picked up 2 passes.
