We are still here and still caring for dogs and cats. Our tiny rescue has changed in the last 10 years. There have been highs to which we had multiple volunteers, fosters, funding and even transports. Our lows have been heartbreaking, gut wrenching and hard.
Our reputation has suffered some blows but we are still here feeding, nurturing and protecting our long termers, and our TNR feral barn cats. We still help with spay/neuter in our community and provide food. collars, leashes or whatever we can for our community. Right now we are low and struggling financially. We do not have a multi million dollar facility, government funding or a staff. We are mostly 2 people and a single volunteer. We have helped the community with vet bills to keep their pets healthy. We are closed to intake but that doesn't stop the needs and care of our animals. We devote our lives to them. We are needing some help from our followers, donors, alumni and community. Our supplies are low and most needed is dry/wet dog food, dog treats, toys, peanut butter and wet/dry cat food. We will even drive to you to get donations. Most of our dogs are special needs meaning they are timid, slow to trust, senior, not dog friendly or cat friendly.
Consider helping us. The rescue that pulled dogs and cats from death row at our local shelter years ago when they had no hope. We are still here and so are these precious souls.
