We had a blast at the West Virginia Taxidermy Association Convention and Competition this past weekend! Met so many awesome people and made some great connections. I had the opportunity to enter my first ever whitetail shoulder mount into the competition and it scored high enough for a second place ribbon. I also entered a freeze dried snapping turtle that scored a second place ribbon and won People’s Choice Best Reptile. More importantly, the critique and advice from a world class whitetail judge is priceless and I’m looking forward learning and improving more and more. Tiff carried me once again in the co****le tournament and we got 1st place for the 3rd year! Lol.
