We are delighted to warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the joy, culture, and wonder of childhood at our annual Día del Niño (Day of the Child) Celebration.

Celebrated in Mexico since 1925 and embraced throughout many Latin American countries, Día del Niño is a cherished tradition that honors the importance and rights of children. Inspired in part by the 1954 recommendation of the United Nations General Assembly to recognize and uplift children worldwide, this day serves as a meaningful reminder that children are the heart of our communities and the voices of our future.

We are proud to celebrate and honor the children of Vallejo and invite you to join us at

Meet Soul, a 6-month-old black and white domestic shorthair with a big personality packed into his 6-pound frame. This friendly, affectionate boy kitten is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly-equally happy rough-housing with his feline friends as he is curling up for a cozy lap nap.

Soul is curious, silly, and full of charm. He loves toys, enjoys being around people, and isn't shy about chatting with you-especially if food is involved, since he's very food-motivated. With a medium energy level, he strikes a great balance between active playtime and relaxed couch potato moments.

He's litter box trained and social with adults, children (he even allowed his foster mom's nieces to carry him around a bit!), and other cats, making him a wonderful addition to a home looking for a fun, loving, and snuggly companion.

Adoption fee: $150
