Milk Dud is a young Rottweiler who was brought to us yesterday after a Good Samaritan found him with a gunshot wound and took him to an emergency veterinary clinic. With a bullet in his abdomen and a badly fractured front leg, this sweet dog needed immediate medical attention.

Although the bullet did not hit any major organs and was successfully removed, Milk Dud's broken leg was so severe that it needed to be amputated. He's well on his way to a second chance and will remain in our care for as long as he needs us.

In cases like Milk Dud's, your support is more critical than ever. We anticipate thousands of dollars in medical expenses on top of his daily care needs.

Please, consider supporting our humane efforts with a donation – no amount is too little.
