remember! Check to see if the ground is too hot by placing your palm on the ground. If it is too hot for your hand it is too hot for your pup! Also, for those of you who own short nosed dog breeds, remember that they overheat faster than other breeds.

We’ve been looking for our stolen dog since 2/2016. She was stolen from Porter Ranch CA, but could be anywhere by now. Please help us get the word out about our stolen dog. We’ve been looking for her for 3 ½ years. Please share this stolen dog flier with anyone & everyone you know; but especially with people you know that are animal lovers, & anyone who either works or volunteers in any animal shelters, rescues, pet-related companies or non-profit corporations. We greatly appreciate any help we can get in finding Sunny. All we want our best friend & family member back home. She was stolen from Porter Ranch CA on February 3, 2016. It's been over 3 years since she was stolen & we still cry for her. We haven't given up on finding her & never will. We just want Sunny back – No questions asked. We've done everything that's been suggested to us & we've not had even one sighting of a chihuahua mix of her size. We put up big bright neon colored full size posters all over the San Fernando Valley for the first 3 years & still keep a banner up by the 118 freeway on Porter Ranch Drive near Rinaldi Street. We've also been facebook posting, emailing, snail mailing, & hand delivering fliers to animal shelters, rescues, non-profit corporations, & pet related companies in Southern California since she was stolen. We’ve even emailed & facebook posted her flier to animal shelters all across the United States, going state by state until we’ve completed every single state. We don’t know what else to do, other than what we’ve already done. We will NEVER give up looking for our Sunny girl. She meant the world to us & made our family complete. Whoever stole Sunny ripped our hearts out when they took her. It's like trying to breathe without any lungs. Please, please help us find Sunny. DESCRIPTION: Sunny is a spayed female Italian Greyhound, Chihuahua, Shiba Inu Mix dog. She's my teenage son's ESA dog. She’s gold with cream chest, underside, paws & the tip of her tail. She looks like a little fox; she has a large chest like italian greyhound's, the curly tail that shiba inu's have & the big erect ears like chihuahua's can have. Sunny is about the same size as a shiba inu or Italian greyhound; about 14 in. tall & was 15 lbs when she was stolen. She also had a cherry eye when she was stolen, which is a disorder of the third eyelid which causes the gland to prolapse and protrude from the eye as a red fleshy mass. However, whoever has Sunny could have had the cherry eye removed by now, so she may or may not still have the cherry eye.
