Dachshund Haus Rescue

We will never separate a bonded pair! ❤️❤️

These two sweeties are safe! Their owner could no longer care for them. They are skinny and they need the works! Neither are fixed or up-to-date on shots. They could also use some toys and a bed. Let us know if you would like to send a care package. Otherwise we could really use donations to get them caught up. Welcome to your new lives Skye and Rubble!

We prefer Venmo or Facebook because PayPal charges us a ridiculous fee. And thank you so much!

As difficult and heartbreaking that this is to see……can you imagine how much worse it is to actually endure 💔? All while having no voice or no way to help yourself 😔. Ignoring it or staying quiet because it makes you uncomfortable doesn’t stop their continued suffering or help to work on fixing the problems that lead to this. We can all do something, small or large it all adds up ❤️.
This ends up being their fate …
Pets are a lifetime commitment .

Gaby unfortunately did not win the photo contest. However, it was nice to see everyone rally behind her for a good cause. She is still a winner in our hearts 🩷🫶🏻🐾

Thank you to Gaby’s mom for choosing DHR as the rescue to donate to on Gaby’s behalf. She donated $250 to us which was so kind and generous 🙏🏻🥹 thank you Diana for your generosity! Every dollar counts!
