A question we often get is 'how often should my dog be groomed?'. While #1-5 are pretty standard for every breed, #6 depends on breed & coat type, however 8 weeks is a good general timeline for every dog that requires a haircut.

Some exceptions are:
- Puppies: pups under 1 year old should ideally be groomed every 4-6 weeks to get them completely comfortable with the process.
- Longer coats: if you desire to keep your dogs coat long, grooming should be done more frequently to avoid matting.
- Senior & special needs dogs: comfort is top priority so shorter haircuts for less frequent visits is recommended.

Feel free to ask your Groomer how often they think your pup should be coming in if you are not sure. 🙂
