Dear Breeder,
I am writing to formally notify the Labrador Retriever community of the availability of the remaining dogs from Polar Bear Farms.
Following the passing of my father, Ron Gieseke in March of 2025, our family has undertaken a careful review of the future of the kennel. Due to my mother’s inability to continue daily kennel operations, and as none of my siblings or I are able to assume those responsibilities, we have made the difficult and respectful decision to place the remaining dogs from my late father’s breeding program.
At this time, six White Labrador Retrievers are available: two males and four females. These dogs represent the final dogs bred and maintained under the Polar Bear Farms name, a kennel my father operated with joy, dedication, consistency, and a commitment to quality.
All dogs are from established and respected pedigree lines, including bloodlines from the late White Velvet Kennel of Canada. Throughout his years as a breeder, my father placed great emphasis on sound temperament, structural correctness, and the preservation of strong White Labrador genetics . He loved the breed and the reward of providing quality dogs to quality people, these dogs are a direct reflection of his efforts and enthusiasm for the breed standards.
The dogs may be placed individually or as a group, to suitable homes or kennels, at a fair and reasonable price. Proceeds from their placement will be given to my now widowed Mom to for a rainy day account for whatever the future might hold for her.
Our foremost priority is ensuring that each dog is placed with responsible, knowledgeable owners or breeding programs that will maintain the standards and care with which they were raised. As much information that we have found from my Dads Kennel records about, pedigrees, as well as photographs, and pricing are available upon request.
