After so many years in the grooming industry, it’s time for me to take a deep breath, look back with gratitude, and step forward into a new chapter. This decision wasn’t an easy one — grooming has been such a huge part of my life, and each of your dogs has left paw prints on my heart that will never fade.

To every client who has trusted me with their beloved pets: thank you. Thank you for letting me share in their lives, for trusting me through their first nervous puppy trims and their senior grooms, for every laugh, every story, and every hug at pickup. I’ve watched so many of your pups grow up, and it’s been the greatest honor of my career.

As I step away, I’m entrusting the business I started, and you all have helped me nurture to life, to Wags Bakery. I’m so proud to share that Hanna, who many of you already know and love, will be continuing her grooming journey at Wags. I’ve had the joy of training Hanna and watching her blossom into a talented, compassionate groomer. She has already groomed each of your dogs with care and attention, and I know she will continue to treat them as her own.

Tater, my bather, will also be extending her in home nail services into the Urbana and surrounding areas to ensure that no one is left without options for their high anxiety pets who have have come to trust only her.

To make this transition as smooth as possible, I’ll be assisting the wonderful Wags grooming team through the handover. My last official day will be November 26th, I am still taking appointments for all of November. Please rest assured that I am working along side Wag’s scheduling team to ensure all December appointments will remain scheduled. If changes need to be made you will be contacted very soon. I know you and your pups will continue to receive the same love and care they always have.

I also want to take a moment to recognize Suzanne, the owner of Wags Bakery. Suzanne is not only a fantastic businesswoman but also a genuine, kindhearted woman who loves dogs just as much as I do. The love and dedication she puts into her treats speaks to her passion for dogs. I hope you will support her, and her amazing team, the way you have me over the last five years, with grace and loyalty and love.

My heart is full of love, gratitude, and so many memories. Thank you for being such a beautiful part of my life and career. I’ll forever cherish the time I’ve spent with each of you and your furry family members.
