Another opening day has arrived! As usual I’ll post some pictures for proper caping of your deer.

PLEASE be mindful of the warm weather, if you want your deer mounted it needs to be skinned and in a freezer asap, (not hung in a barn or rolled up in a cooler or sitting on your garage floor), bacteria starts forming the minute that deer dies and it needs to be cared for properly.

There will be some pricing changes for this year, as we all know everything gets more expensive and unfortunately my prices have to reflect that. I also will only be able to take in a limited amount of deer until I get caught up on my backlog from last year. I also won’t be taking any lifesize mounts.

Finished up this once in a lifetime buck this morning! You couldn’t ask for a prettier cape on this deer. First week of archery and obviously pure white. I’ll definitely be sad to see this one go, who knows when the next time I’ll get to work on something like this!

Got tired of having my turkey beards scattered all over the place, so I came up with this idea for a rustic board, multi beard display. Used some old aluminum arrows for hanging beards and some reclaimed barn wood for the display itself. I will probably decorate the shelf with some old calls or a vintage box of shotgun shells. If anyone’s interested in a display like this let me know!
