Saying goodbye is one of the HARDEST things I've had to do this last month, but I don't wanna leave y'all without some sort of direction. Bellow I have listed (in no particular order) fellow local groomers whom I've been BLESSED to work with over the years who have been incredibly supportive of me and my journey. Returning the same support is the least I can do !!

I've attached pictures of a few of the business cards as well as a larger list put together by one of these lovely ladies !

Feel free to reach out to clarify who you should transition to, some have breed restrictions due to scheduling needs, while others have full salon with day stays, and others works 1 on 1.

Again, I'm so sorry for my departure but I truly trust God, and if I'm to return to Grooming one day I'm ready for the work it'll take to get back to my full schedule, but that doesn't mean y'all have to wait around for me. 💖

THANK YOU ALL for the support over the last 5 years , it's been more than I've ever expected to experience. My best wishes for each of you and your pets as well as the rest of the Grooming community as it continues to grow and florish in our area.

❤️‍🩹It's with a heavy heart we make this announcement, 🙏🏼
Dogs by Kat will be CLOSING at the end of July.

While we hope this is temporary, there are elements out of our control. We will be relocating, at this time it's uncertain as to where.

How to even start writing this ? The question I've asked myself for 2 weeks now.. There is no easy way to say Goodbye to each of you or your pets, nor this Business I've built from the ground up.

I am forever grateful for each and every one of you, whether you are a one-time client, or committed regular. The impact you have all had on our life the last 6 years, is beyond what words can express.

The love and support from you all has been truly amazing, I feel so blessed to have met each of you and to have been trusted with your loved ones.

I have always said that Dogs by Kat is God's plan for my life and now I'm trusting him more than ever for whatever that plan truly is..

I have HUNDREDS of photos, memories of the precious life I've gotten to live and enjoy bc of YOUR pets! The love I get to feel daily and the profession I've grown in. Every step of the way you all have been there.

From starting in Hometown Animal Hospital as a brand-new Groomer to my tiny 1bd apartment Working in my living room/kitchen...to now.. 😅 yes still in my kitchen...but non the less THRIVING. 💖
From changing careers and coming back to welcoming arms as if I'd never left. The grace and understanding each of you have met me with when my health has caused me to be flaky or unreliable at times. They're not enough words to express my gratitude..

There is no malicious reason behind this departure, just the ever changing economics we're all faced with. I have nothing but love and goodwill towards the ones who have allowed me to do what I've loved this whole time, unfortunately it's not sustainable.

I have faced many health difficulties in the last few years more than I've ever admitted publicly, and have slowly scaled back. However the time has finally come where we're no longer able to just push through and make magic happen the way we used to. So we're accepting God's nudge to let go and trust in him.

We pray that we'll make a come back and that in a month or two this is just an embarrassing sappy post. Trusting that if not, it's for the right reasons.

If you have read this far, it would like to help send us off with a bang, we plan to groom until the very last day 💖 so I will be offering appointments for the last 2 weeks of July, just message us for an appointment.

I will be posting a flyer in a separate post put together by another local groomer with alternative options and groomers to book with.

Things have been in FULL SWING this SPRING 🌱🍃🪻🌷🌞
it's been hard to keep up with our social media presence but we're still here and still going strong!!

Personally, I cannot thank you all enough 🙏🏼 Truly the support form each about every single one of you is so overwhelming 🙌🏼✨

Finding the new balance in our life seems to never actually happen, Grooming has been the one thing that allows me to still feel independent and capable! So thank you for the kindness and patience throughout the years. It's incredible to me that THIS is my life 💖🥲 🙌🏼

With that said, we have a few spots left for next week and then we will be FULLY BOOKED for the month of May !😍🤩🥰

You DON'T have to get your dog's hair cut EVERY time you see your groomer !! In fact we encourage more frequent visits!

A commitment to a specialized schedule for your individual pet helps them to relax and enjoy the experience, as well as allows us to maintain that preferred style without drastic changes.

This cool dude was so much fun to work with, between his perfect table manners to his quick wit (lifted him on the table 1st time, asked him to hop up the 2nd time and he took the job seriously 🤌🏼🫶🏼 and perfected his method)

This cutie was a blast to get to explore our creative side a smidge more than usual, and what better way to showcase the TRUST THE PROCESS method of things.

Sometimes,, at the halfway point,, it can seem as though we have created more of a mess for ourselves,, and as if we in fact will never have a presentable pet for you all to pick up. 🥴😵‍💫🫠😅 However with a dash of patience and tenacity, we can pull off a moment that even surprises us!
