A little about me...
My name is Katie. A 7 year old and a 2 year old. We live on a 20 acre farm in Campobello, SC where we raise Boer goats, chickens, horses, AND DALMATIANS. We also have two herding dogs and two livestock guardian dogs. Between kids and animals we are busy busy! Why do i love dals? My love for dalmatians started when I was a little girl and the movie 101 Dalmatians came out. I watched it so many times and had TONS of stuffed dalmatians. I fantasized about having a real one. When I turned 19 I purchased my first dalmatian, Lizzy. Dalmatians are very hard to find from a reputable breeder, but I finally found one. Everyone told me that dalmatians are aggressive and not very easy to train. Lizzy was crate/potty trained in two weeks. She was the cutest puppy in this entire world and she was all mine! She went everywhere with me even though I had a car with black interior and she shedded SO bad. I did not care. She was my baby!
***Breeding
I have lived on a farm my entire life and I know all about breeding different types of livestock, but at that time I had never bred dogs. I begin to do lots of research and consulted with different breeders. As soon as she turned two years old, I began searching for a male. We finally found one two years later. When those puppies begin getting those famous spots (they are born solid white unless they have a patch) and I could love all over them, I felt like I was in the 101 Dalmatian movie! I was IN LOVE. I told my husband that this is something I want to do for very long time. I wanted to be a reputable breeder and share this wonderful breed with others. My goal is to follow good bloodlines and to make the breed better with every litter and do everything as natural as possible. We have now been breeding for 6 years and we plan to continue as long as we are able to. We are very laid back “country folks” and welcome any potential buyer to our house to meet us and our dogs. All of our dogs free range during the day and stay in our climate controlled garage at night. Puppies are $1200. A $200 deposit is required to be on the waiting list for our puppies.
***We currently only have 7 spots filled for the next two litters. Send us a message if you would like to be on the waiting list!***
