Wanted to share a long overdue photo of the evolution of the kennel. There are still more renovations to come, but I’m so pleased with the results so far.

A couple housekeeping things. I have thought long and hard about this but have decided that except for the few current large dogs I’m doing, I will no longer be accepting dogs for grooming that are over 20lbs. I hate to do this as I love all my clients, large and small, but I need to do what I can to preserve my back.

While doing the renovations in the kennel, I am also once again scaling back how many kennels I have. I would prefer to focus on quality vs quantity and making sure each dog gets more personalized care than a larger boarding operation would allow me. With that comes a price increase. Rates will now be $35/calendar day for one dog and $10/calendar day for each additional dog in the same kennel where applicable. Cat rates remain the same.

Hi all!

I wanted to take a second and address something that I’m sure you all have noticed. And no it’s not my sign - I promise that will be back soon!
Since my accident, pictures have become more difficult for me to do. While the AI backgrounds worked for a while, they just weren’t always up to par with what I like to put out. And the problem I have with my normal picture setup is I’m not able to do anything but small dogs on it. In addition, my balance isn’t always great and there’s been a few falls (for myself - never for dogs!).
In trying to be honest with myself and realistic in my body’s limitations, I will be discontinuing pictures for the time being. I am incredibly sorry for this as I know how much you all look forward to them. I plan on focusing on some big plans for my kennel building that I’d like to achieve before the end of the year and once that’s behind me, I will look to see what I can do to make pictures more feasible again.
As I didn’t charge for them, my price structure won’t chance, and I completely understand if you would like to shop around for a different groomer. I am always happy to pass along any grooming notes or instructions if this is the case.

Update: BLANCHE IS HOME!! Thank you to everyone for sharing and the kind messages I’ve received. 🖤

Those of you that have been here lately have probably had the pleasure of meeting my kitties Dottie and Blanche. Blanche escaped last night and hasn’t been seen. If you live near us or know people who do, please keep an eye out for her. She is desperately missed!
