This is an awesome update and why we do it!!!!!!

Hello!
My name is Stuart Barnes and last summer I got my wheaten terrier, Reggie, trained and certified as a therapy dog through you all.

Aside from that I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank you on behalf of Maurice Bowling Middle School staff and students. The therapy dog program was a HUGE success. I cannot begin to tell you all of the positive experiences that occurred because of Reggie and that is thanks to you all. I have some photos attached where we presented at Animal Club, listened in on reading intervention lessons, and overall just enjoyed Reggie’s presence. Thank you again!

Thank you so much for joining us once again - for enduring the heat and the rain and the long day! Miles certainly stole the show - what a wonderful addition to your home/team. We are deeply blessed by your partnership in this work. It has certainly become a highlight for ALL involved. And those pictures are fabulous. Thank you for sharing! Today let us talk about our Service Dog & Therapy Dog Prison K9 Programs. Prison K9 training programs stand out as an excellent example of how the bond between humans and animals can foster transformation and redemption.

Pawsibilities Unleashed has had the opportunity to work with several of these programs, both State and Federal. This past week I ask my state canine trainers to write a short story on how the program has helped them.

Below is one of the responses to the question. Trigger warning, this is not an easy read for some folks, but it is from the heart and the truth of how change can come around.

This particular author has been in our program for 5.5 years now, and has earned his Dog Training Certification and has trained some of our best service dogs for children.
