Sphodros abbotii "Blue Purse Web Spider"

This is a Purseweb spider is a species of spiders from a family of Atypidae. It was described by Charles Athanase Walckenaer in 1835 and found in hardwood forests. This is a rarely offered purse web species. The mature males are very colorful! Purse webs are not "display friendly", but their burrow/tube web and behavior is fascinating!
• Primary Range: Northern Florida (around the Florida peninsula and panhandle).
• Secondary Range: Extreme south-central Georgia, specifically in counties like Brooks, Echols, Grady, Lanier, Lowndes, and Thomas.

Hysterocrates laticeps "Nigerian Rust Leg Baboon"

Rarely available! This is a large fossorial baboon tarantula found in lowland tropical rainforests of Cameroon and Nigeria and was described by Pocock in 1897. They differ from similar-looking Hysterocrates spp. from West Africa with their dark chocolate femurs and slender tibia sections of their legs IV (back legs). Some confuse this slender tibia feature with the legendary H. hercules. These large-growing tarantulas are "bulldozers" that dig deep burrows. When full-grown, they can achieve leg spans of 7"-8".

YES!!! Caribeana versicolor the "Antilles Pinktoe" is back in-stock!

Caribena versicolor "Antilles Pinktoe" (normal variant/purple morph) (ex. Avicularia versicolor): This is one of the world's most colorful tarantulas with spiderlings/small juveniles exhibiting sapphire blue and then changing into the adult coloration of having purple legs, a metallic green carapace, and red abdominal hairs. They look great in a tropical vivarium with live plants. They need tropical conditions with good cross ventilation. This species is a hobby "classic" and is always in high demand. Effective 1/11/23 C. versicolor will be listed as a CITES II species requiring expensive CITES II permits to be approved for importers to buy them from European exporters. This will increase imports costs, drive up demand, and result in higher pricing in the U.S.A. with lower supply. Buy these when they are available!
