Brenna came into her mom’s life as a pup nine years ago, and her mom now refers to Brenna as “the love of my life.” Spending very special moments together over the years, they have truly become a devoted duo. Sometimes taxing things can happen all at once. A car in need of major repairs, as well as a tumor on Brenna’s ear needing immediate attention, put Brenna’s mom in a very stressful place. Brenna’s issue was a priority, and her mom’s determination helped to make this important surgery a reality. Mom reports, “Tumor benign, Brenna healing well.” Life is good!

Adopted as a six month old, these last 13 years together have been the best for both Max and his mom. Their world was turned upside down a few weeks ago when Max refused even his favorite meal, and a good night's sleep was not on his to do list. Anyone who has experienced an abscess knows of its pain, discomfort and distraction to daily life. It was a disruption to not only poor Max’s life, but his mom’s as well, and a costly vet visit was needed to make their lives whole again. Thankfully, great vet care and Max’s great mom all helped to make it happen.

Adopted as a pup 13 years ago, getting to know her mom took some time, thus her name Shy. Now inseparable and an important part of each other's life since that time, Shy and vet visits have been the norm for this sweet one. Her most recent visit involved a few more extractions. Friends knows that this visit won’t be Shy’s last, because she has a mom who truly treasures her presence in her life and, as in the past, will be there for her no matter what. Both so lucky at life and love!

Quite a gymnast, one and half year old Archie sure enjoys his new home since his mom opened its doors to him as a stray six months ago. Both their worlds made a huge turnaround with their presence in each other’s life. Their daily routine together faced a detour when, unlike himself, Archie became listless and indifferent to his surroundings. His mom made an immediate vet visit for her loved one, where it was found that Archie had a bowel blockage. After costly surgery, his caring mom happily reports, “He’s feeling spunkier and more like himself once again.”

Adopted as a 10 month old rescue six years ago, Penny's loving mom was there for her big time for a second rescue. Giving our pet’s meds can be challenging. However, Penny had no problems ingesting some over the counter, adult pain meds and required a very lengthy, costly, four day stay at an emergency vet clinic. Great vet care and a series of blood tests, fluids and meds helped this sweet girl feel her young self once again, thanks to a mom who cherishes Penny’s presence in her life. Wishing Penny and her very special mom many more happy, healthy years together.

This heat is getting to us all!

Thirteen year old Misty has been an important part of her mom’s life since her adoption 11 years ago. Living alone can have its challenges, and when Misty came into her mom’s life, changes for the better were made. Simple routines like chow time, playtime and hanging-out time have given her mom’s life meaning and greater purpose. More than that, they have been there for each other in bigger ways as well over the years. Misty has had a thyroid condition and recently required a vet visit for blood work to adjust meds. Misty, still living the good life, thanks to a mom who cherishes her company each and every day.

Eight year old Phoebe came into her mom and dad’s life as a rescue five years ago. Her presence since then has made all the difference in both their world’s. There for each other in special ways, these past five years have been the best for this th*****me. Phoebe’s parents were determined to keep it that way when they noticed her struggling to ingest favorite meals. An immediate vet visit and great vet care found the source of her challenges, a mass on her gums and the need for two extractions. A very relieved mom and dad report, “Phoebe is doing fantastic!”
