Today, on Rainbow Bridge 🌈 Remembrance Day, our hearts are heavy, but they're also full of love for all the animals we've known. As a shelter, we get to witness so many happy endings, but we also have to say goodbye to some of our beloved residents too soon. Today is for them—the ones who didn't get to run through a field of flowers, curl up on their own couch, or be tucked into bed at night.

They may not have found a forever home, but they found a place in our hearts, and we'll carry their memory ❤️ with us always.

While we grieve for those we couldn't save, we also choose to honor them by fighting for a better future. The sad reality is that animals are suffering in incomprehensible numbers.

We will take a moment to honor those who were with us, and we will continue to advocate for a better tomorrow for companion animals, both locally and across the nation.

A huge thank you to Goodman Electric for your generous support of our mission.

It was a pleasure learning about your shop dog, a stray that showed up and you took in, who now gets to spend her days at work and her nights in a loving home.

We appreciate businesses that show this kind of compassion. Please consider supporting this great local business! ❤️🐾

Goodman Electric was able to make a donation of 300$ and also dropped off dog food, cat food and treats to The Animal Harbor. The donations came from customers, employees and the carwash that we hosted at the office! Thank you to all that donated and supported us to make this possible.
