I can’t believe I finally get to say this…

An indoor arena is coming to Harmonized Horsemanship this fall. 😱😍

I bought this place in 2022, knowing there was much to build and much to do. I prioritized all of the things that the horses needed most and made sure their needs were taken care of first. This indoor has been a dream I’ve held close to my heart for YEARS. One that felt impossibly far away at times. One that I started to give up on, but something told me not to...

And now, it’s actually happening. 🥹

This space changes everything.

☀️ We’ll be able to keep horses in consistent training year-round, no matter what Colorado weather throws our way. No more canceled lessons because of the wind, no more frozen solid footing, no more freezing to death from January to March,
🐴 The return of clinics and workshops! You’ll be able to bring your own horse to clinics once again! AND we can finally host 3- and 4-day workshops for deeper transformation and connection.
🍷 “Equine and Wine” evenings? Yes, please!

More hands-on experiences. More offerings. More gathering. More growth.

I’ve poured everything I have into building a place where horses and humans can meet in honesty, softness, and partnership. Where vulnerability and feelings are celebrated. Where togetherness means more than accolades.

This indoor isn’t just a building... it’s the next chapter in what we’re creating here together. ✨

Thank you to every person and every horse who has helped bring this vision to life. I CANNOT wait to share it with you 🫶🏻

If you want to come join us, get in touch to get on the waitlist for board and training. We'd love to have you 💛

Sometimes the bravest thing a horse does is stay.

Stay in their body when every cell is telling them to leave.
Stay with us when humans have given them every reason not to trust.
Stay open. Stay curious. Stay soft.

And sometimes the bravest thing we do is slow down enough to notice.
To feel them hesitate and not rush past it.
To sit in the quiet instead of pushing for progress.
To meet them in the place they’re in instead of the one we wish they were.

This work isn’t about control.
It’s about presence.
It’s about listening to the story underneath the behavior.
It’s about honoring the try, even when it’s quiet.
Even when it’s messy.
Even when it doesn’t look like much to anyone else.

Because real healing isn’t loud.
It’s subtle.
It’s sacred.
It’s slow.

And our job is to make it safe enough for them to stay.

I made a new friend yesterday. ✨ A horse with a history of big, dangerous behavior on the ground, including bolting and kicking. Yet she was able to yield space, move shoulders and soften gracefully when asked from a place of "Can you try?"

The demo yesterday was the first of its kind and will be the beginning of something so rewarding for horse and human. I don't often ask much of horses the first time I meet them, and so I wasn't sure how this was going to go. Yet, as always, the horse amazed me with her willingness to change and her offerings of engagement and a desire to work together. It felt so special.

Thank you, Liz Cottrell, for allowing me the opportunity to work with this special mare of yours and give you a new way to move forward with connection, softness and safety for both of you. I have no doubt you will both shine 💫

The next Problem Solving Demo will be on August 16th! Tickets and an official event page are coming soon, but mark your calendars! I'll be working with two different horses I've never worked with on that day and we'll see what transformations can take place!

We’re just two days away from this weekend’s Problem Solving Demo! I’ve never done a demo quite like this, and I’m so excited to meet a horse for the first time at the start of the demo and see how much we can shift together in just two hours.

I’m hopeful this format works well, because it’s such a great way to help more horses and show how much can change in a short amount of time.

We’ll wrap up with a Q&A after the horse portion to answer your questions and help you leave feeling more confident in your own journey.

Can’t wait to see you this weekend! 🤩 Grab your tickets in advance here, or pay at the door if you prefer! https://harmonizedhorsemanship.com/store/p/liberty-training-layer-by-layer-a-live-demonstration-3yklh

Event: Problem Solving Equine Behavior Issues

📅 Date: July 12th
🕙 Time: 9:30-11:30AM
📍 Location: Harmonized Horsemanship, 39533 Buffalo Run Cir, Kiowa, CO 80117
🎟️ Tickets: $40 advance | $50 at the door
🪑 Bring your own chair (umbrellas welcome for shade)

Every horse has a story. Every behavior is a message.

In this one-of-a-kind demo, Jess Roberts will work live with a horse named Clover who she has not met or worked with before. Clover has extreme responses to any kind of pressure, including aggressive reactions like biting and kicking. This session will be an honest, unscripted look into how healing and rehabilitation begins.

Over the course of two hours (with plenty of breaks for the horse), Jess will explore the root of the behavior and begin building a foundation for resolution. You’ll see how her approach prioritizes emotional clarity, consent, and two-way communication — not dominance, pain or force.

What You’ll Learn:
✅ How to get curious instead of corrective when a horse “acts out”
✅ Why most behavior issues are symptoms, not problems
✅ How to slow down and listen instead of pushing for obedience
✅ Why small wins matter more than big fixes
✅ How to support a horse through stressful situations without escalation

Who It’s For:
Whether you’re dealing with a challenging horse or just want to better understand the “why” behind the behavior, this demo offers a real-time look at the process of mindful problem solving.

Change doesn’t come from overpowering the horse.
It comes from understanding them.

**Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is rescheduled due to weather.**

🤩 FREE TRAINING FOR YOUR HORSE 😉

Do you have a horse (or mule) with a behavioral problem or something you're struggling with? I am looking for a horse to work with at my upcoming Problem Solving demo and would love to be able to help your horse overcome a roadblock!

The only requirement is that you can get your horse here for the demo (so trailer loading issues are not going to be a good fit). Other than that, your horse can be any age, size, breed, etc. with any problem that you have had a hard time fixing.

The demo is July 12 from 9:30 - 11:30AM at Harmonized Horsemanship. I will work with your horse over the course of those two hours (with plenty of breaks for processing and decompressing) and will give you a roadmap of where to go and what to do moving forward.

Interested in your horse being the demo participant? Send me a message or email to get in touch!

Thank you! 😍

New girl at school 🤓🤩😍

Birdie the Mule is here to learn nervous system regulation and relaxation so she can be a safe, solid riding mount.

I am obsessed with her.

Here we are doing some energy and relaxation work to start her transformation 💃

A big thank you to Jenni Wingo for trusting us with her best friend ❤️⭐️
