We’ll be offering free FVRCP vaccines for cats and DHPP vaccines for dogs, thanks to Petco Love. Rabies vaccines for $15 and microchips for $20. No county restrictions. No registration required, but it is recommended. Link to pre-register below....

PUPDATE Time! Levi’s Happy Tale...

Tiny, helpless, and just a few days old—Levi and his 4 siblings were found abandoned in a Metro station in Montgomery County, MD. Thanks to a quick partnership with Montgomery County Animal Services & Adoption Center , they were safely transported to us.

From there, our amazing staff and foster volunteers jumped into action. Around-the-clock bottle feeding, sleepless nights, and lots of love helped these little ones grow strong until they could eat on their own. They thrived in foster care until they were old enough to be fixed and adopted into loving families.

And now?..... Levi has found his perfect furever home! His new mom says he’s growing up to be so big, smart, and full of personality. She even did a DNA test—turns out Levi is 20% Labrador Retriever and 80% Staffordshire Terrier … which makes him 100% adorable.

Stories like Levi’s remind us why fostering, volunteering, and supporting shelters truly changes lives. From an abandoned Metro station to a cozy forever home—this boy’s journey is proof that second chances matter.

💔 500 days. 200 days. Still waiting. 💔

Meet Socks (9 yrs) and Lacey (16.5 yrs)—two bonded senior sweethearts who have been overlooked time and time again.

🖤 Socks has spent almost 500 days in our care. He’s gentle, affectionate, and lives with diabetes that’s well managed with prescription food and medication.
🤍 Lacey has been with us for nearly 200 days. At 16.5, she still has so much love to give.

Both are FIV+, but in good health, and they’ve been happily sharing a space for 200 days now—comforting each other while they wait.

But here’s the heartbreaking truth: senior cats, bonded pairs, and FIV+ cats are often overlooked. Together, Socks and Lacey face the toughest odds of all.

They don’t need much—just a quiet home, a soft bed, and someone to love them for the rest of their days.
