We are ready for someone to create a children’s book about our shy kiddos!

The Adventures of Winslow & Woodmouse!

These two didn’t know each other before the shelter but have become best of friends. Woodmouse is slow to warm up to new people but is so amazing with other dogs. Our little shelter nanny! She has helped Winslow come out of his shell and it’s been amazing to watch. How cool would it be if someone adopted them TOGETHER 🥹

Don’t skip over the shy kids. It is so rewarding to gain their trust and make it into their club!

Our buddy, Mr. Earl, is back from temporary foster and is confused and sad being back. Can someone take this sweet kid home today? 💙

💔 Magic Lantern Pumpkin is back at the shelter again… her unicorn’s still in tow, but this time she’s in an outdoor kennel because we’re completely out of space.

This sweet 9-year-old senior lady has SO much love to give — she was wonderful in her foster home, but things didn’t work out with the resident dog. She came back still hopeful… and now she’s stuck outside, sleeping on concrete instead of the cozy bed she deserves.

She’s gentle. She’s affectionate. She’s got a big heart and a big stuffed unicorn. She just needs someone to take a chance on her.

Magic Lantern would love to be your one and only — no other pets, just her and you. And honestly? She’s so worth it. 💕

Please — if you have space in your home, even just temporarily, let’s get this girl back indoors where she belongs. 🥹🩷

🐄 Meet Mr. Earl — 33 pounds of pure cattle dog chaos wrapped in awkward, velcro-coated love.

He’s got big “let me crawl inside your skin and live there forever” energy. People? Obsessed. Dogs? Loves ‘em. Personal space? He’s never heard of her.

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED BY SUNDAY 🚨

Wade is in a bit of a pickle. 🥺 His amazing foster of the past year has had a family emergency and has to leave town ASAP. This sweet old gent needs a new place to crash—ideally a couch, preferably with snacks.

Wade is:
🐾 7 years old
🐾 Lower energy
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 No cats, please
🐾 Crate trained and chill while you're gone

He’s not looking for a jogging buddy (please, the man has boundaries), but he will take a leisurely stroll, play a little tug, then curl up near you with his favorite toy. He’s the perfect mix of relaxed and playful.

Wade is also a respectful foodie. 🍔 He loves hamburger, chicken, peanut butter, and pumpkin—but only if you offer it. He would never dream of snatching. He’s got manners. 🐶

He gets along with men, women, teens—and he’ll greet all of you with a wagging tail. He’s sweet, soulful, and ready to snuggle his way into your heart.

Meet Little Nicky — 2 years old, 59 pounds, and shaped like a loaf of love. 🥹💚

He’s only been with us a couple of days, but he's already making us laugh with his signature army crawl across the grass. Why walk when you can scoot like a weirdo on a mission?

Nicky’s got big silly boy energy and a heart to match. We’d love to learn more about him in a foster home where he can settle in and let his full personality shine.
