current 2025 Fastcat rankings for Pyrsheps - Be & sister Astra are two little girls holding down the top spots ~ 🔥🌟🐾💨
it’s possible with a few more runs, Midna could get back in her groove of 25+’s and end up in the top 5 ❤️‍🔥 Zae, had a personal best of 24+ at 10.5 years in the heat, sun + humidity 😱 these pups love running their hearts out & sure have got some speed 💥✨ so proud of each team in the PYRWILD gang !!!

maybe one of the worst ways yet that i’ve lost a QQ: dog before us didn’t want to run + kept trying to leave the ring… right by where Midna was lined up…eventually the handler took the dog out, & when the dogs collar got grabbed to leave the ring it did a terrible, scared blood curdling scream. this was right on the other side of the gate entry and the scream completely upset & distracted Midna. given no chance to recover, even after i moved away and told that i *needed* to recover my dog from that upsetting incident. we were still rushed into the ring. Midna COMPLETELY unable to focus on work, looking around for what made that noise. having no other option i sent Midna, who is absolutely beside herself, to jump 1. she somehow made it to 2 and just couldn’t. still looking, worried. i picked her up and left the ring. if it was a NQ mistake, i would’ve continued running. but my dog was NOT capable of running at the moment - solely due to the terrified scream just feet away from the gate where Midna was waiting, focused & so ready to run 😔 i’m terribly upset, about the experiences but also that we didn’t get a chance to even try the course. and anyone who knows my dog knows how laser focused she is on her agility & how much she loves to play the game. i did ask for a re-run, as that only felt fair, but was met with a no.

well, after only making it to Masters in March - we worked hard, travelled a ton.. but weren’t quite good enough to make the cut for Invitationals 😭💔 the top 5 will receive invitations for the event in Orlando in Dec - Midna is #6.
looking forward to refocusing our goals now - a long awaited litter of PYRWILD puppies + back to ISC where we have the most agility-fun ❤️‍🔥

what a fun weekend !!! Midna won all her classes she qualified in with a double blue QQ today - yay !!! 🥳👏🏼🌟🐾🔥 it’s so nice to run outdoors on grass… and now i am dreaming of a local trial with both reg AKC + ISC outdoors… someday 😌💭
