We're OPEN Th-Sun 10am-5pm, closed for bad weather.
Thank you everyone who made it out to the Frankenmuth Flower Festival ! The sunflowers are now CLOSED for viewing, visiting and picking for everyone. If you missed us this year don't fret, we do this every year the first weekend of August. 🌻

First bloom! 🌻
Each year we host the Frankenmuth Flower Festival and time somewhere to the tune of 375,000,000 🤯 sunfowers to bloom during those three days. Sunflowers only bloom for 3-12 days depending on the conditions.
This year I was nervous after hearing about how late the growing season was. 😬
BUT each year, like clockwork the first bloom shows up on my birthday! 🎁🌻 Here she is! The fields are looking to be exactly on full bloom time this year and we're so excited to welcome you out to the fields & festival on Aug 1st, 2nd & 3rd!

Gather around for this latest 'odd happenings at the farm story! 👻
If you've been here then you know that we're not just a Petting Farm & Playground (altho we are those things too!) There is plenty of farm history to learn about, including a multitude of vintage farm buildings and structures.
Roberts Workshop has been picked to be our first highlight due to an odd event yesterday.
It's a very unique building due to how it's been constructed with stacked, flat laying lumber as well as the power equipment located inside that was ran from a tractor on the outside. In order to protect this rare building and its contents we have this as a 'look only' historical building. Which is why finding this can inside of a building I've cleaned and been in countless times over the last 7.5 years is quite strange in deed! Never seen this can before. Nothing on the cameras. Placement of the can in the picture wasn't the location found, but it was in a very obvious location that it wasn't at the evening before.

Co-existing with nature is a part of every day life on a small farm! Moving fawns to the borders of hay fields, skipping a crop row to not harm a Killdeer nest and planting enough crops with it in mind that the deer, or Gary & Gloria the groundhogs will eat some. 🤷‍♀️

"What do the animals do when it's extremely hot?"
That's a question that was asked lots today as we're moving into some hot weather. Thankfully most of the animals have lost most of their thicker fur/hair and are wearing their Summer coats. The answer though is shade, ice, fans, some air-conditioning and LOTS of fresh water. Each animal has a hot weather plan and is monitored closely.
We'll be open unless it gets too hot for visitors.
