💔BIG ANNOUNCEMENT/SALES💔

I've been waffling and putting this post off for some time now.. but it must be done.

I aprpeciate everyone's offers of help, support, kind words, labor, and goat-sitting. Ultimately my young, solo life needs a change. I have been "tied down" with goats since I was 8 years old. Chores twice a day or stressors of finding someone to do chores, goat emergencies, work life balance, relationships challenged... it's time.

📣Broken Top herd will be selling all remaining animals this summer.

I will be EXTREMELY picky about homes for some of these animals. So if you are interested please reach out and we can chat, never any offense. Messenger is always easiest :)

I still will judge youth shows (12 this year!), attend shows with friends, me tor youth, host clinics, and more..
But this bug daily stressor needs to go for me to sustain the other parts I love.

A piece of my heart will certainly be gone forever, but I need to sacrifice it to keep the rest of the people, places, and things I love.

Not a goodbye, just a different lens :)

Kidding Update:

Not the one I'm particularly excited to share..

Posy kidded this past weekend with a nearly 7lb single buckling. His hips were wider than my palm across.
Gorgeous boy.. but unfortunately he was too big to make it out.

By the time I knew what I was dealing with, he was already passed.
Posy was a trooper and some creative means were used to ensure I got him out.
With my feet propped in her thighs, a kid puller, and dislocating the kid's shoulders.. he came out.

Posy is recovering very quickly and I'm so thankful she is as ide as she is, a C-section would have been the last thing I wanted for her.

This mean no reservations can be filled, no replacements can be offered...If you are on those lists please reach out to arrange something else for now. Let's be thankful our favorite oaf is thriving after such a stressful time.

BooBoo is our last to kid and hopefully will have more than a single. Surely she looks like it!
Fingers crossed for a weekend of happy babies and mommas!
