My name is Gary Ramsey and the last 25 years of my life has been spent head over heels in love with the American Brittany thanks to an amazing dog named Clay. Windswept’s Clay Bullet was everything a bird hunting enthusiast could ask for and so much more. Wild bird hunting was a passion for Clay, he was an exceptional bird finder with stamina and style. Together we hunted several species of quail, pheasant, ruffed grouse, sharptail grouse, hungarian partridge and sage grouse all across this country and his intelligence and heart were beyond compare. Clay was a true hunting companion and my very best friend. During his career in National Shoot to Retrieve (NSTRA) he became a 10 time Champion, was first runner up in the Grand National and was inducted into the NSTRA Hall of Fame. I feel so blessed to have owned him and fortunate now to continue his legacy and linage through his sons, daughters and their offspring.
Brittanys are bright, funny, loyal, loving, biddable and their passion for finding birds is beyond compare. At Windswept Ridge Brittanys we find that combination irresistible when deciding on a hunting companion. Only the best of the best traits are combined in our breeding program and our goal is to produce a puppy with every opportunity of making you the best bird dog companion possible with an abundance of natural ability in the field and a loving disposition.
Our puppies are always current on vaccines and wormings and we guarantee that he/she is free of any genetic or congenital disease. Hips are guaranteed for 30 months from the pups date of birth. If at any point your veterinarian finds an issue described above your purchase price will be refunded in full.
