Mr Lox met so many people at today. He’s passed the F out on the way home, ate dinner, and is snoring next to me on the couch. Thanks to and for having us today! Paws crossed for lots of adopted pups!

Had a great morning at with and some adoptable pups from . Lox did amazing with all the attention! Plus he got to try some bagel from . He got a bath at and some ice cream as a reward. Now we nap! He has another big day tomorrow!

As always, I’m late posting but Im running a little fundraiser for ! Meet Maybe Avery! Maybe Avery came to from Orangeburg County where he and six other dogs were abandoned on a property for several weeks. Two dogs had already been pulled into a rescue and Bridge Between was able to take the remaining five. Maybe Avery had been hanging out in the bridge building looking for a foster. I had told myself I wasn’t going to foster until after the new year but had a litter of puppies with their momma and a parvo outbreak. Bridge Between offer to take the litter, if Maybe Avery could go into a foster home. How could I say no to that?

So, why Maybe Avery? Avery was the shelter name, but I think he needs a new start. What we know about Avery so far, he’s a male(!), around 4 months old, has three little white paws, lots to snuggle, cat friendly. Today is Giving Tuesday so let’s do a donation drive to re-name Avery! For every $5 in donations you send to , you pick a name for Avery! Please send me a screen shot of your transaction and names. I’ll do the drawing Wednesday evening!

Things I’ve learned about Lainey in our first 24 hrs together:
-cat friendly
-walks around the house like a newborn giraffe, awkward and clumsy
-enjoys climbing things
-can fit through the cat door in a baby gate
-can jump over a baby gate
-enjoys bones and cat nip toys
-really enjoys cat food
-enjoys a nice leisurely stroll with lots of sniffing time
-will shove herself under the couch if she thinks there’s something good under it.
-turns her nose up to milkbones
-has velvety soft ears
