NACC staff and Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center volunteers will be outside the shelter on Saturday, July 19th, from 11-1 pm collecting donations for our pet pantries. For every bag of dog or cat food you bring, you’ll receive a free voucher to the August 6th Norfolk Tides game! ⚾

✔ Must be unopened
✔ Just drive up, drop off a donation, and we'll hand you a free Tide ticket voucher

Meet ZANE, our First Responder for a Day on shift with the crew at Norfolk Fire-Rescue Station 12. 🧑‍🚒🚒1️⃣2️⃣ 🐾

This sweet, gentle and polite guy spent the day exploring the station, charming the crew (look at those eyes) and soaking up all the love! 👀💕🐕‍🦺

During his visit, he learned that Station 12 is home to NFR's Marine Incident Response Team which is a group of highly-trained firefighters and specially-designed equipment designed to tackle emergencies on the water near the Port of Virginia.

Zane is back at the shelter and is ready to be a part of your crew!
Adoption hours are 1:30 to 6pm every day but Wednesday.
