We are just 7+ weeks away from our Raffle Drawing which will be held Sunday, September 21st, 2025 at 3pm. The prize list is almost finalized and will be posted soon. This week we have been able to add prizes from Outback Steakhouse, The Bread Basket, and Texas Roadhouse...YUM! We are THRILLED to see that one of our shelter partners, Humane Educational Society, is now offering low-cost spay and neuter surgeries directly to the public!

For the past couple of months, HES has been performing spay/neuter surgeries for our shelter animals and for qualified low-income residents of Hamilton County who need their pets spayed or neutered. This valuable partnership has enabled us to spay and neuter 30 owned animals in less than three months—in addition to the shelter animals HES has “fixed” for us!

Sometimes the 3rd time really is a charm, and for our sweet Aggi girl, that’s exactly what it is! Her new family was so excited to meet her and we just had a good feeling about them before they even walked in the door. Plus, they live close and we know we’ll be getting visits and updates. Shelter life is hard and longer for some than others. We are very happy to say that Aggi‘s shelter time has come to an end. Happy home life to our beautiful girl!

We received a wonderful surprise this week! Cali, Millie and Lily collected donations for their birthdays this year instead of receiving birthday presents. We are so grateful for their thoughtfulness and kindness. Happiest of birthdays from all of the dogs and cats🎂
