Meet Axis, a 1-year-old neutered male Shepherd who is ready to find his forever home! 🐶❤️

Axis recently completed his on-leash training, and he did a fantastic job. He’s learned the structure and skills needed to be a well-mannered companion and is ready to take that foundation into his new home.

Axis is an owner surrender due to health issues, and while that’s never easy, he’s landed on his feet and is doing great with us. He has a very sweet disposition, is up to date on all his shots, and is getting along well with the other dogs here at the kennel.

He’s a solid, well-rounded young dog who just needs the right family to give him a second chance. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a great temperament and a good training foundation, Axis could be your guy. 💙

🐾 Better Late Than Never – Congrats, Landa! 🐾

We owe this guy an apology — somehow Landa slipped through the cracks on our posts, and we missed celebrating his graduation back in early July. That’s on us!

Landa successfully completed his 2-week on-leash training program at our New Braunfels location, and he did a fantastic job. 💪🐶 He put in the work, built solid leash skills, and made great progress during his time with us.

Even if we’re a little late saying it… we’re very proud of you, Landa! 🌟

Lucy the GSD and Gunner the Golden mix have been putting in the work and are currently focused on their down-stays! 💪🐶🐶

This exercise is all about building patience, focus, and self-control, and both of them are stepping up to the challenge. Whether it’s holding position with distractions or settling into a calm mindset, they’re starting to really understand what’s being asked of them.

It’s always great to see two dogs working through the same skill in their own way, and both Lucy and Gunner are making solid progress. We’re proud of these two! 🌟

Rita and Dr. Fitz have been putting in the work and are currently focused on building solid down-stays! 💪🐶🐶

This exercise is all about patience, impulse control, and consistency — learning to stay calm and committed even when there are distractions around. Both of them are making great strides and starting to really understand the expectation.

It’s always rewarding to see that moment when things start to “click,” and these two are well on their way. We’re proud of the progress they’re making! 🌟

Rita has a fun personality, and we're excited to get to know her while helping her develop the skills that will make life even more enjoyable for both her and her family.

🐾 Training Spotlight: Queso! 🐾

Meet Queso, our sweet 5-month-old pup who’s here with us for his 2-week on-leash training program! 🧀🐶

Queso has been a joy to work with — soft, eager, and always ready to learn. Right now, we’re focusing on building his long down-stay, helping him understand how to settle, stay in position, and make calm choices even with distractions around him.

That’s a big skill for a young pup, and Queso is stepping up in a big way. He’s making great progress and showing more focus every day.

We’re excited to keep building on this foundation and watch him continue to grow! 🌟

Lara's Canine Solutions is currently fostering a beautiful litter of 8 Belgian Malinois puppies who are ready to find active, committed families of their own.

These puppies have been raised in a foster environment where they have received extensive socialization from the very beginning. They have been exposed to:

✅ Adults of all ages
✅ Children
✅ Other dogs
✅ Everyday household sights and sounds
✅ Regular handling and interaction

Belgian Malinois are intelligent, athletic, and highly trainable dogs that thrive when given structure, training, and a job to do. They make excellent companions for active individuals and families who are committed to providing ongoing training and enrichment.

These puppies have had an excellent start in life and are developing into confident, social, and curious young dogs.
