Baby you’re a firework!
When you receive the CUTEST video of one of your most fav fosters… you SHARE IT! (SWIPE to see Red now VOLUME UP) If you’ve followed for long enough you definitely remember sweet Red. He arrived at the Zoo VERY broken (sharing more Red on our story). He was missing most of his hair, he was uncomfortable (sitting, standing, walking), very skinny, extremely malnourished, terrified, shutdown, but sweet even through the pain and neglect. The orthopedist that performed his FHO surgery (a surgical procedure for dogs and cats with hip issues that limit their mobility) suspects that Red was kept in a very small cage for his entire life and deprived of proper nutrition. Red was a long term foster (about a year) so needless to say, the thought of saying goodbye was emotional. When his family arrived they thanked me for caring for their dog. They brought me flowers and left the sweetest letter. It’s was so hard to let go but I had no doubt that they loved him like I loved him. Red is living his very best life. He is treated kindly, loved, well fed, spoiled, comfortable, and happy. I hope this post makes you SMILE. RED we love you so much.
