Our KLN teams partnered with our partners at Thrivent and the INDY Foundation (I’m Not Done Yet) to fill 96 bags with supplies, encouragement, and love for cancer patients in the Perham area. 💜 Each bag is more than just items—it’s a reminder that no one fights alone.

What a summer! KLN Family Brands, Kenny's Candy and Confections, Tuffy's Pet Foods, and Tuffy's Treats, were lucky to have 13 incredible interns on our teams, bringing fresh ideas, new perspectives, and so much energy!

Last week, they wrapped up with final presentations that showed just how much they accomplished. Intern Rowan Nelson said he was most impressed by our teams adaptability and our mindset of “not if we have issues, but when we have issues" and being able to pivot whenever needed.

With only 47% of students completing internships before starting their careers, we’re proud to give them hands-on experience, real-world skills, and connections that last well beyond summer. Here’s to our future leaders!

Our teams helped pack backpacks full of school supplies to ensure local students head back to school ready to learn and succeed. 📚 ✏️

40 Years. 480 Golfers. Over $1.7 Million Raised.

The 40th Annual Tuffy Nelson Golf Classic was one for the books! With 120 teams and 480 golfers, this year marked another record-breaking event. Because of our community's incredible support, we continue to raise essential funds for organizations making a real difference in the fight against cancer, granting life-changing wishes, and advocating for pets and veterans.

Thank you to everyone who has been apart of this ongoing legacy!

🎉 Happy National Intern Day 🎉

This summer, KLN Family Brands welcomed 13 talented college interns selected from over 500 applicants! From engineering and graphic design to food science and more, our interns are gaining hands on experience while also giving back.

Each intern is leading their own project tailored to their area of study and interests, from developing new gourmet licorice flavors to creating safety campaign graphics and engineering process improvements. They even teamed up to plan Quest in the Park, a fun-filled fundraising event benefiting the Brave Like Gabe Foundation.

We’re proud of the energy, creativity, and heart these future leaders bring to KLN. Let’s hear it for the Class of 2025 interns!

We’re proud to share the incredible impact KLN employees have made through our giving & volunteering program, Ka$h for Kau$e$, in the first half of 2025.

💰 $18,000 in employee donations
🤝 $9,172 in company matching
⏱ 884 volunteer hours given back to our communities

This program was launched in January of 2022, it empowers employees to give both time and money to causes they care about and KLN helps multiply that impact! Each hour volunteered earns $10 for the employee’s Giving Wallet, and donations are matched up to $250.

Together, we’re supporting organizations like the Boys and Girls Club, BIO Girls, Camp Odayin, and many more. Thank you to all our employees for living our mission and making a difference!

⛳️ Clubs are packed and we’re ready to kick off the 40th Annual Tuffy Nelson Golf Classic!

Back in 1985, Tuffy Nelson was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. That same year, 20 golfers teed off in the very first tournament—with Tuffy himself there to cheer them on. Tomorrow, more than 400 golfers will come together carrying that same spirit.

This tournament has always been about more than golf. Throughout the years, raising over $1.6 million for cancer research and support. It’s about showing up for each other, honoring a legacy, and making an impact that lasts far beyond the course.

Here's to Tuffy. Here's to 40 years. And here’s to doing good, together.
