⛳️ Clubs are packed and we’re ready to kick off the 40th Annual Tuffy Nelson Golf Classic!

Back in 1985, Tuffy Nelson was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. That same year, 20 golfers teed off in the very first tournament—with Tuffy himself there to cheer them on. Tomorrow, more than 400 golfers will come together carrying that same spirit.

This tournament has always been about more than golf. Throughout the years, raising over $1.6 million for cancer research and support. It’s about showing up for each other, honoring a legacy, and making an impact that lasts far beyond the course.

Here's to Tuffy. Here's to 40 years. And here’s to doing good, together.

Thanks to a wellness grant, KLN employees company wide were able to purchase high quality Brooks and Hokas at a discounted price! The team from Duluth Running Co. came to Perham and Delano to personally fit staff with the best shoes for their feet. Whether it’s for work, thanks to the non slip option, workouts, or everyday wear—around 500 pairs of shoes found happy new homes (and feet)! 👟

KLN Interns Present: Quest in the Park – Supporting Brave Like Gabe

This summer, KLN’s Class of 2025 Interns embraced a challenge with purpose: to plan and host a fundraiser that makes a difference. After thoughtful consideration, they chose to support the Brave Like Gabe Foundation—a tribute to the inspiring legacy of Gabriele “Gabe” Grunewald, a Perham native, professional runner, and rare cancer advocate.

This initiative is no small undertaking—and our interns have stepped up in a big way. From brainstorming to logistics, they’ve been hard at work bringing this event to life. Their efforts reflect KLN’s strong culture and our unwavering commitment to one of our Five Core Beliefs: People First.

We’re proud to support the bright young minds at Delano Public Schools as they head to Washington, D.C. for the National History Day competition! 🧠📚 KLN donated $500 to help cover travel costs for these incredible students. There were three teams who earned their spot at Nationals with months of research, passion, and hard work.
