RubyLane Labradors AKC Registered English Labrador Retrievers It is our goal to provide healthy, intelligent, loving and beautiful English style Labrador retrievers.

We have been raising and breeding these beautiful dogs since 1995. We only raise Fox Red's, Blacks and occasionally Yellow Labs. Our puppies are family raised w/lots of attention from kids, have a 1 year health guarantee, have their dew claws removed, been vet checked, de-wormed and have had their first set of shots.

After much soul searching and family discussions, we have decided to no longer breed our beautiful Labs. 😢 Now that I am working outside the home and my husbands (and my) health is just not the greatest, we are not able to devote the proper amount of time and attention needed to do things properly. That being said, we are looking to rehome (for appropriate fees) several of our beautiful/loving adult labs. We are looking for homes for: Onyx (our 100+ pound black boy), Scarlett (our 100 pound red girl, and Ellie (our older mama who just needs a happy retirement home). If interested, please PM me. (First pic is of Scarlett, second is Onyx and Ellie)

This is Scarlet. I just took her to the vet for her annual exam. She weighs 97 pounds! Sheesh! Don’t let her innocent, inquisitive face fool you. We’ve been sitting in a parking lot waiting for my daughter to get off work and Scarlett has “man barked” under her breath at about 10 people and about 30 seconds ago passed gas that has me tearing up….lol.

So, Miss Ellie is having a season. Jax is eager and up to the task at hand, BUT I’m wondering if in todays economy it’s wise to even attempt to have a litter. Thoughts?
