Today, we wanted to make a post in honor the life and legacy of a truly remarkable woman—Carolyn Tiroff. Carolyn wasn’t just a donor to our mission; she was a believer in it. Her unwavering support over the years lifted our spirits and helped us grow, and her generosity made it possible for countless animals to find safety, care, and love.

Among her kindest gifts to us were her adopted companions, Sprite and Clyde—two lucky cats who found not just a forever home, but a forever heart. Carolyn gave them the kind of life every rescue animal dreams of, filled with warmth, snuggles, and unconditional love.

She was the kind of person you rarely meet but never forget. Gentle, gracious, and full of heart. Her kindness rippled far beyond her own actions, inspiring us all to be a little softer, a little kinder, and a little more devoted to causes bigger than ourselves.

Carolyn, we will carry your memory in our mission and in our hearts. Thank you for believing in us. We wish more people were like you.

This guy, who we named Trigger, was brought to us by a Good Samaritan earlier this month with a gunshot wound. Our partner hospital releases him for adoption today. We wanted to share the photo we took today alongside his intake photos because he looks like a completely different dog.
