We are a breeder of quality AKC Labrador retrievers. We also offer boarding and daycare in Maine So let us help make the distance easier for the both of you!

BOARDING
We are excited to have our kennel and play/socialization area, built in 2015, which allows increased boarding abilities! Rest easy knowing your dog will be loved just like one of our own while you are away and you will be able to follow their stay on our page or request private mobile updates to check in our your best friend. All boarding prospects must have proof of vaccination (rabies,

kennel cough, proof of flea prevention, distemper and Parvovirus)

Prices are $18/day for 1 dog or $30day for 2 dogs and $15 for each additional dog. All of our puppy owners receive a boarding discount. Going on an extended trip? We also offer discounts on extended stays of a week or more Please provide your dogs own food as dogs can get upset stomachs with changes in diet and we want to make your dogs stay as smooth as possible!! Walking/socialization and playtime is all included. Does your dog have special needs or require medications? No problem we would be happy to keep them on the same regimen as at home! Questions? Special requests? Just ask we are willing to accommodate however we can! BREEDING
We started planning our breeding program in 2011 with the addition of Buddy and are excited to see that it is starting to come together! We added Jewels and Lucy the beginning of 2014 and it has grown from there!! We love our dogs and the strong bond that forms between dog and owner. We look forward to helping others enjoy the love of a lab!

I know our last post was really sad so here’s some good news. Yeti and Rip are excited to announce they are expecting! I did an ultrasound today on her as well and looks like she will have a nice litter, black and yellow puppies do the middle of June. This is a repeat breeding for these two.🥰

After a week of eating steak and treats it is with a heavy heart that I wanted to let everyone know Tess passed on this morning but as the ambassador of puddledock pups she met everyone who came to visit she will be missed -

Tess was the mom of all moms. Everyone who ever came to the house fell in love with her and she never met a person or puppy she didn’t love. She was the “introducer” for any new boarders or daycare dogs that were unsure. She could always help them settle in.

Tess as our youngest son Cody’s first show dog and she was his baby. She loved unconditionally as all labs do, but she was so special.

We would like to thank heart of Maine mobile vet for coming to the house to help her cross over the rainbow bridge in The comfort of our home and to Ashes to ashes for always being there for pet families when they lose their beloved pets. We also would like to thank everyone of our Puddledock family who loved Tess and have part of her legacy In Their homes.

Rest in peace pretty girl.

All fixed so you can add photos! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and dog moms out there!!! Share a photo of your fur kids!! I’m enjoying watching the news and having my morning coffee in bed with some of my fur babies. Thanks to Bruce for doing morning chores so I could chill before work 🥰😘

But what should my wondering eyes should appear? But i see a faint line showing here! Now just to pray that we have a smooth pregnancy and all goes well for Miss Torrie ❤️ for those who are just following us or learning dog pregnancy can be checked around 28-32 days (at the earliest) Torrie is 28 days from her first “date”. by checking for relaxin which is a hormone released into the blood stream from the placentas of the puppies. We draw about 0.5 ml of blood and spin it down to separate the plasma and use the plasma for testing the relaxin. Fingers crossed we should be able to ultrasound in another week to see and try and guess how may she has implanted (this is not always guarantee for how many make it to term pending how they develope)

So excited to share that Miss Sherpa(Puddledock’s Climb Every Mountain) has passed her health testing now that she is 2 🥰 Sherpa is out of Molly and Thorin’s 2024 litter and our first great grand baby to be in our program out of our foundation crew :-). She is a Buddy x Jewels great grand daughter

In case you’re ever wondering, dogs are a lot like people …… they’re actually my favorite kind of people. They’re always happy to see you. They love you unconditionally. They’re the best cuddlers. They’re always willing to listen. and girls that live together will match up their cycles. 😂😂 so stay tuned in a few weeks. We should be able to confirm this year‘s breedings. 🥰🥰
