Quills daily ink: The house is a different vibe now that my brother is gone. I’m sticking like glue to Mum more, because Rocket used to hover over Mum.

While at times it used to make her a wee bit nuts, she misses this the most. Her shadow, her rock, her I’ll make it better, her sweet, faithful boy.

Grief, some days hits harder than others, it’s the simple moments that are precious, that we hold dear, that you really don’t think are a big deal, but they are the most important. Eating dinner is now so very quiet and uninterrupted and boring.

May your Wednesday be not boring. Shop opens 10-6
