hello friends! the next couple of weeks our posts will be focused on our fifth silent auction event, Paws and Reflect! I am scheduling some posts but will include pictures of cats at the end as consolation for anyone annoyed by the spamming of this.
To start the fun: if anyone follows our stories, you'll know that we went to AnchorCon a couple weekends ago and I built a custom cat bed. We did not sell it, so we decided to turn it into a raffle! Any fans out there? We had the pleasure of chatting with Julian Richings, aka , while in Clayton! He's a super cool dude and was excited to meet Freddie Purrcury. He was also incredibly excited to see the iconic 1959 Cadillac turned into a cat scratchy bed!
Death's Chariot was signed by Julian with some magical words- he labeled "Death's door" on the driver side and scrawled "Purrfect" before autographing it!
We also parked next to Baby (the Winchester's car) for funsies and I can't get over the pictures, theyre too damn cute.
Raffle tickets are on sale NOW in shop if you'd like a chance to win this one-of-a-kind piece! It was a blast to build and to see everyone's reactions to it!
Drawing will be held on September 21 at our anniversary event, Paws and Reflect!

Help us celebrate our fifth year of existence by supporting our cause to give back to our rescues- Oswego County SPCA - OCAWL and Wayward Paws, Inc. ! We're hoping to have our biggest silent auction event yet this year with items and baskets from local businesses and crafters to bid on and be raffled off! Our vendor apps, donor and volunteer forms are LIVE to join in! Happy everyone! As promised, its the August ! We got a handful of returning events and more info on our anniversary event Paws and Reflect 5!
Info on P&R5: Our vendor, volunteer and donor forms are OPEN! We have secured the old Mediterranean space that we used last year for the event, so we'll be happy to fill it up again! Over the last 4 years, we have raised almost $7k to assist our rescues with medical fees, spay and neuter, food and litter, and more as a thank you for all that they do for us through the year. We wouldn't be where we are today without them!
💜Vendors- we have limited space, we will email a confirmation and approval after reviewing your app.
💜Donors- You do not have to be a vendor to donate, you do not have to even be here for the event! Please don't forget to give us an estimated wholesale and retail value as this helps us determine starting bids.
💜Volunteers- a complete list is included in the form, but we would love to have a few people to help us procure auction items before the event! We'll also need several people to assist the day of the event to set up, check people in, register bidders, raffle people, and more. See the form for complete list!
Save the date- September 21st from 12-5p!
We're bringing back Roll-for-a-Latte, a drink decided by the fates! We're working on our other specials for the month this weekend.
We'll be at AnchorCon in Clayton on Saturday 8.16-8.17, so if youre in the Watertown area or looking for a day trip to a fun afternoon, come say hello!
We're bringing back another session of coffee painting on Sunday 8.10! We provide all the supplies, you come with the creativity! This is an advanced level painting session as coffee (and tea) works very much like watercolor, so patience and layering is needed.
Another art event will be the Paint your Pet! This is another loosely guided event that works like this: send us 2-3 photos of a pet you'd like to paint, we draw the outline, and you fill it in!

Happy everyone! So, uh, its been a minute. We have over 6500 fb followers and just passed 4000 ig followers, we’re about to have our fifth anniversary, and im celebrating four decades of existing (read: turning 39 again- second midlife crisis pic 6) maybe its time to reintroduce myself.
My name is Alisha. I own and operate Pawsitivitea CNY Cafe & Cat Lounge. Im typically the face youll see 95% of the time you come to the cafe.
I recently jumped on the adhd bandwagon. Professional anxiety-haver. I try my best to be present and am in the wrong job having all these brain sparklies.
I have a small army of tropical chickens (10 parrots) and six cats (pics 2 and 4). My birbs are my children.
Im a workaholic, and am always moving/adding to my to-do list. Special shoutout to Sherman and Maurice (pics 11-12) our residents who passed away.
I have a bachelors in fine art and an associates in culinary art management.
Five years ago I jumped ship from three jobs (a bank, gameshop, and a restaurant), mid August was the end of my corporate career as I administered the finishing touches on opening my own business. I didnt know what to expect, and I still dont. Things are always changing and Im always finding better ways to do things.
I dream to live on a beach by the ocean. I am a child who lives by cartoons and anime. I love to do artsy-fartsy stuff. Good food is magical, especially desserts. Hugs not drugs (for real- to each their own, but please dont stink up my store after smoking). I like puns.
Thats prolly good for now. I never thought Id own a business and actually enjoy work. So whether you have or havent been to the cafe, thank you for your support. I feel so lucky to be where I am, to know good people, to have helped almost 500 cats find homes, and continue this thing called life, anxiety and all.
Ill try to be better about posts, tomorrow the august info will go up. Hope to see you all sometime!

Good evening, everyone! Happy (almost) ! We are partnering with Syracuse Swifties for a special event: KARMA IS A CAT! Quick note- you do not need to book for this event, only if you wish to visit the cats! That being said, if you do not wish to participate in the event and just want to pet cats, you can still book any time during open hours! (11am is fully booked though.) This event will be in our little hallway corner.
We have a special drink menu, there will be some themed snacks from , bracelet making and trading, a little raffle, fancy bracelets by , and flash tattoos by ! Check out our slides/photos for more information!
Again, we are not closing the cafe off to general visitors after 1pm. Books are wide open from 12pm on to hang with our 18 residents! We're excited to meet some new humans over the love of cats, music, and good vibes!

For those still reading- 471 was adopted and brought back for his own safety, another kitty was not handling change well. It was hard on all sides, but everyone agreed we want everyone to be safe. He will keep his number when he goes home❤️

Hey, hey, it's today! Happy ! To all those who need to hear it, whether it's a physical, mental or emotional disability- you matter, you belong, and you are WORTH it!
A few big announcements for our July ! I know it's not everyone's favorite post, but how else yall gonna know what nonsense we're up to? **THIS WEEK** We are closing early Thursday 7.3 at 4pm and will be closed ALL DAY Friday 7.4! We'll be back in time for the weekend, though!

Sunday July 13: Calling all fans! We're having a special afternoon hosted by from 1-5pm! Karma is a Cat will be a fun filled afternoon for local fans to meet and greet in the company of our resident kitties! Bring bracelets to trade, MAKE bracelets, we'll do some TS trivia with prizes, there will even be special treats from Exhale Cafe & Bake Shop , a artist on site, and we'll offer some themed drinks for everyone to enjoy! We only offer here and can't wait to see you in all of your !
We have our usual events, special notes this month include on Sunday 7.20- in honor of the announcement of part 2, come watch Spaceballs with us! Then on Saturday 7.26, our next session of Pawsome Reads will meet to discuss 's In The Lives of Puppets! Just book a regular visit at 5pm on 7.26!

Happy everyone! We are FULL of stinky and pretty little babies! (This song is a curse and branded into my brain)
We have 20 (yes, twenty) residents in the lounge, and 11 are ! We’re taking this moment to remind everyone of a few things:
❤️clean socks or slippers are required to visit
❤️kids 10 and up are allowed in the lounge (10-12 require an adult visitor to enter with them)
❤️WE DO NOT ALLOW GUESTS TO PICK UP OUR RESIDENTS. We know its tempting, but please. Dont do the thing. Parents, make sure your kids follow the rules. We are always watching. Even when we arent here 👀 We like happy residents, not overstimulated sad cats
❤️book your visits online, especially larger groups, because we cap the room at 8 people!

Aside from a mini get away, we also work with local shelters to find forever homes for our resident cats!
