We are still tattooing and collecting kitten shower donations. Most of the kittens in foster are still too small for adventures. We had a couple who came and were very scared so they were taken home.
We are so sorry for those who wanted to meet some littles. We will be sure to do some kitten romper rooms in the future. Thank you to those who have been bringing donations.
The several dozen 2-3 week old babies will have the best head start. ❤️💜🩷

Tomorrow!
Come say hello at our fourth annual Kitten Shower! We will have a few special kitty guests, a paint night painting auction, kitten information, how to become a foster info, and more! There are still a couple spots for tattoos with Raine (book through our website) and Ella has availability all day (dm .tattoo on instagram).
We are collecting donations for our rescue partners- Oswego County SPCA - OCAWL , Wayward Paws, Inc. and The Inconvenient Kitten - their most needed items are Kitten Milk Replacer, Fancy Feast Kitten pate, and Iams or Purina kitten chow.
If you can't make it, you can check out our Amazon wish list at our link in bio/on our website, or even just PayPal a monetary donation that we will pass along in the form of those needed items.
If you bring a donation and wish to visit with our residents in the cat lounge, we'll give at 20% discount for any hour visit! (one visit discount per group).
The books are quiet for now, but that could change before the morning- we hope to see you tomorrow!

This Sunday!
Our fourth annual Kitten Shower!
This is a bit last minute, but if any crafters/shops wanna do a pop-up, we’re borrowing the old driving school space! We can prolly fit 5 tables, Raine will also be tattooing in there, and likely we’ll have our rescues hanging there as well.
No vendor fees, if youd like, bring a donation (physical or monetary) to kick off kitten season.
We’re updating our amazon wish list tonight for kitten supplies- mainly we are loooking for KMR, Fancy Feast Kitten, and either Iams or Purina Kitten food.

Have you met Mia?
Mia was stuck in the shelter for over a year and a half being passed over, she is maybe only about 2 years old! She can be aftaid of new, big spaces initially, but has been coming around over the last week. She purrs almost immediately when someone gives her attention and pets. She loves catnip (first pic she is passed out after enjoying a good hit). Her tail is shorter than most cats giving her a munchkin vibe!

Good evening and welcome to the April ! Our big event this month is our fourth annual Kitten Shower on Sunday April 13! We’ll be collecting supplies for our rescue partners, Oswego SPCA and Wayward Paws, to get a jump start on kitten season! We are also holding our fourth Tats for Cats with TWO artists on Saturday 4.12! There are a few bookings left for Raine via our website, you can dm Ella at .tattoo on instagram!
Both Raine and Ella will also be doing tattoos at the Ravens Nest in East Syracuse on Friday April 25- please dm them directly for this date!
We’re trying a new event called Paint your Pet! This will be Saturday 4.26, if youd like to participate, book a spot, send us your pets pictures, we’ll draw the outline, and you fill it in with some gentle guidance!
Cherry Chai was the winner of our vote for a cafe special, we’ve brought back our spring favorite, Sakura Matcha, and will have Pistachio Rose soon!
Please also enjoy Waylon being the center of attention and assisting flyer distribution on Monday.

Happy (false) spring! We want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came in on Monday night for our first ever Trans Day of Visibility celebration! We partnered up with .porch.collective to offer up resources and support for trans folx, and in addition we also are making a donation to The Unicorn Collective, a local non-profit, that is available to help trans folx relocate to CNY in safer spaces. We raised $166.30, but we'll be rounding up to $175. It's not much, but we hope it can be put to good use for those who need it!
Thank you again to everyone for your support, the residents all had a great time keeping everyone entertained and loved!

This at 5 Pawsome Reads is meeting to check out by , a fun, sci-fi adventure of non-binary human, Denver, who happens to notice a strange event in the night sky after visiting a local diner to review pie.

Coming this MONDAY!🩵🩷🤍
Join us for a late afternoon to support our local community in partnership with .porch.collective for chats, cats, and support.
Nicole (from FPC) will be hanging with us ready to share information and resources for those in need and also offers grief counseling services. The cats being around are bonus comfort!
We're offering $7 half hours that INCLUDE a basic tea or coffee, the proceeds from this will be donated to The Unicorn Collective, a CNY-based non-profit created to help trans folx find a safe space here in CNY.
In addition, we will also be offering up some themed snacks of which 15% of those sales will also be donated!

The nice weather is upon us, which is great, but this is our reminder to you: if you are planning a visit with our residents, please remember to bring clean socks or indoor-only slippers to wear in the lounge as we do not allow shoes or bare feet!
We do have some cute socks available for purchase in case you do forget, but it will save you a couple bucks to do the thing!

It's almost time! Good-Tuesday-evening! Our fourth annual Kitten Shower is just under a month away! New to our community? This is our fourth year hosting this event to collect kitten food, litter, KMR, and other supplies for our rescue partners, Oswego County SPCA - OCAWL , Wayward Paws, Inc. and The Inconvenient Kitten to assist with another kitten season.
Rescues tend to get bogged and overwhelmed with the influx of calls and requests for help, this is our way to try and make things a bit easier and to say thank you for all they do!
We'll have some games, general info on "what to do if you find a kitten," how to become a foster, a paint night painting auction, and more! Plus, this goes hand in hand with Tats for Cats! Pigments and Paws will be happening Sat and Sun April 12 and 13 at the cafe, and Sat April 25 at the Raven's Nest Tattoo shop in East Syracuse. You can DM Raine on Instagram for the 25th, we will be taking a limited number of bookings for the cafe event beginning Monday March 31 at noon! This typically books out by the end of the day, so be ready if you want to get in!
Again, Raine will be taking appointments at the tattoo shop on Sat the 25th which you can reach out about at any time! We heard her apprentice, Ella, will also be participating, but she will be doing so directly through her with other designs! We'll announce that when we get the info!
Long story short, donate stuff for kittens, get stabbed for kittens, do all of the above for kittens. Coming up in just a few short weeks!

Another weekend in the books- started busy today and calmed down in the afternoon. Sunday is looking quiet for now, but we arent predicting anything, its always a great idea to book your visits!
Aubrey was just a big ray of sunshine during BEAN-Go tonight!
We know its spring break for colleges this week, but for those still in town we have an assortment of events including Giant Scrabble, crafts (we’ll be painting planters!), metaphysical night (tarot readings, etc), paint night (one spot left for Saturday) and yoga on Sunday morning!

It's and we're gearing up for the weekend! We've had a good round of adoptions which means we have new residents! Of course there are bound to be some shy guys that hang in the closet, but they just need a little patience before they are able to flourish.
Saturday is already filling out, so grab your spots now- there's also BEAN-Go at 5pm with a few spots left!

We're always so excited when our shy guys get adopted since they don't get to interact with many people, but lucky for Cider, she went home with Lud- an outgoing and interactive kitten who has helped her blossom even further! Boyd was just the goodest boy, KInsley started a bidding war, Tarot and Oracle are the only two who can balance each other (and love that they stayed together). It was finally Syrup's time to shine- she captured many hearts but was finally selected to move on to her forever home (we even sent her favorite basket from the wall home with her)! Lastly, thought he was only with us for a couple weeks, Sunny now has a wonderful home to live out his days in peace. He was often found napping beside our shy guys in the back in an effort to comfort those who needed it.
We're creeping up on 450 adoptions, and even closer to 500...maybe this year will be 5 years-500 adoptions in September?
As always, thank you to everyone who visited our residents during their stay in the lounge and offering them attention! We have a new batch of residents who are getting acclimated and looking for love, so come say hello!

Happy !
I want to give a special shout out to my staff here at Pawsitivitea CNY. These guys are some of the most incredible humans I've had the pleasure of working with. They tolerate my nonsense-raddled brain, when I can't help but shut down over stress and overstimulation, and overall having to work for the devil, but they show up every weekend (and sometimes on last minute requests).
(Bonus content- they're all part of the LGBTQ+, adhd, and 'tism spectrum in some fashion and STILL kick ass!)
They all care for our residents as if they were their own and make sure you have a great visit from beginning to end.
So THANK YOU! I know I don't think to say it much, for all that you do for me and the cafe while I scream in a corner.
Bonus part 2- Shoutout to all of my rescue partners- Tanya with Oswego SPCA, and Michelle with Wayward Paws- for showing up and handling adoptions and bringing us residents to stay with us, and your insane collaboration with your fosters to keep things in line! a LOT goes into foster-based rescues, and you don't get enough credit for that. THANK YOU!
Shoutout 3- Also sending love to all of my business partners, crafters, and volunteers who show up with amazing things for me to offer to you all, assist with various functions in and out of the cafe, and just being you. And Erin (Ursa Animal Reiki) for literally allowing me to seppuku myself with a selenite knife on a regular basis to fix my, like, chakra/inner self/metaphysical bits (or, doing so without the knife, even though thats more fun).

About Us

Cat cafes are an up and coming service in the US. They originated in Japan where patrons will visit cats and enjoy a warm beverage to relax. Aside from a mini get away, we also work with local shelters to find forever homes for our resident cats! Being in a more open environment lets them be themselves so guests can interact with them in a “home” like environment.
