We are able to be a No Kill facility The Humane Society of Raleigh County, Inc. Its mission is to prevent animal abuse and neglect.

is a non-profit organization which has been serving people and pets since 1979. By agreement with the Raleigh County Commission and the City of Beckley, the Humane Society enforces state and local laws pertaining to animals but is not a government agency. The animal shelter is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday excluding holidays from 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. For more information about the animal shelter, call 304-253-8921 or fax 304-255-9134.

Update on Bear.
Someone was kind enough to open their home so he can have a comfortable and loving place to heal. He is getting his leg amputated today. Please keep him in your thoughts during his healing process.
