We want to welcome Morgan Whitley to Nocturnal Taxidermy. Morgan will be helping us catch up since Roberts stroke. Morgan will be a permanent part of Nocturnal Taxidermy.

The past year and a half has been trying for us as we age. A month ago Robert found out he had some heart issues and last week he had a clot come loose from his heart that went to his brain causing a stroke. 40 minutes unresponsive with no blood getting to his brain. With the quick actions of ER doctors and life flight he made it. He has a ways to but should recover quickly. In the meantime physical therapy, and his heart doctor will be correcting issues. We understand your concern about your mounts. Family will coming in to help in the following weeks. Please keep prayers coming and thank you for your patience. We ask that you be patient a bit longer. Our gate will be closed and we will be contacting you for pick up as we get your mounts ready for pick up. We will not be taking in mounts this season.

As you know from our last post we are just getting our orders for supplies due to the past 2 snows. We will be catching up within this weekend and coming week. We will be at the Hospital the first week in March with our oldest daughter for a scheduled induction. Please keep her and our family in your prayers.

We are expanding and in the process of putting a bigger and better shop in place. We have been dealing with a lot of moisture issues. The new shop will be bigger and will have a better moisture barrier. This will allow better drying times

Lol y'all. So I could not find a local trophy shop for our tags so I went to a shop in my old home town in NC. Things were great. Couple months back I ordered tags and because I live in VA my grandson had my card and went to pick them up. Upon picking them up the older lady handed him the card back and explained I could send a check. I Don't have checks. Anyway the owner called me and I told him I would bring cash when I came around Christmas. Lol they were closed. He called back and I told him I'd be back Saturday. Again closed. So I decided to send the 21.35 to my daughter and have her drop it off. I did this Monday. She has not had a time she could bring it yet due to her work and kids. I received 8 calls back to back this morning and a very nasty message threatening me as well as stating he would go on FB and ruin me. He stated if I could not pay 21.35 it was ridiculous. I have tried three times. I feel if he needs 21.35 so bad he should close his doors. I'm in VA and sent my card when they were picked up. They didn't take the card. So there ya go. I guess he can do what he has to do. People are nasty. Oh and my daughter is taking it to his grimy self tomorrow. I won't post his name or business because I have more respect than to stoop to his level.
