We planned a trip to help bring supplies up to Thunderbay and bring back a few dogs. Then we had an overwhelming offer from our fellow rescue friends and were able to send up double the amount of supplies and resources for those animals affected by the forest fires and instead of returning with 10 animals we were able to help 60 animals. The power of working together as a team is so much greater and rewarding. Stay tuned for updates on this journey.

We are on our way!!!!
Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this possible. This was a collaboration of reacues and volunteers who helped to fill our van with food
Supplies, crates , leashes ,towels, collars and more! Heading to Sault Ste Marie where we will meet our other drive and swap supplies for dogs that have been surrendered from Communities that are evacuating due to the forest fires.

This is just some of the many new friends we’ve made along the way while preparing for our rescue run this weekend. Amanda is our volunteer driver taking a skid of food to Oakville from Brantford for us to make sure it gets in the van Saturday morning to get to Thunderbay by Sunday.

Thank you so much! AND thank you to who got this skid of food donated for us.
