What a fun little weekend getaway to escape the heat and attend the Flagstaff Kennel Club dog show. Cleo hasn’t been shown since the end of January and she did so good, I’m so proud of her!

❤️🤍 Best Opposite S*x under Judge Mr Darryl Vice on Saturday

💜💛 Best of Breed under Judge Ms Vicki E Allenbrand on Sunday

We had an appointment to get to so we weren’t able to stay for groups. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of her either, so here’s her ribbons. 😆

Got the dogs some new toys from Costco! Look how cute the toys are and the dogs gave the seal of approval. 🐲🐉🐒

Yesterday was so busy I forgot to post about Mama Halo here!

Happy 🎉 11TH BIRTHDAY 🎉 to ❤️ Halo ❤️ and her siblings!!! (Birthday was yesterday 3/2/26) Even at 11 she’s running the house (as much as she can) 🤣 She has been loving spending her day napping on the dog bed in the room with me as I work, during my lunch we go outside and she lays in the turf in the sun and every night we have our evening couch snuggles as she steals Todd’s spot next to me. 🤣 I love seeing her still play with the giggle ball in the yard and the stuffed toys. 🥰 Here’s a video of her the other day and a few photos in the comments from the last 2 months. Give all her kids a kiss for us!!!

What a fun weekend getaway in Del Mar, CA! We stayed in a nice smaller hotel with wonderful views and 1 block from the ocean, walked the dogs down to the cliffs to see the amazing sunset and had a beautiful view from our hotel room too! I showed Cleo at the Silver Bay Kennel Club of San Diego and she did great! Until next time Cali!!!

Here’s a quick little video on Mason of the left carrying his favorite green dinosaur (he always needs to carry something on our walks 🤣🤷‍♀️) Angel is on the right.

What a fun filled last 6 days! 🥰 Sarah and Cleo looked beautiful in the ring even with Cleo not being shown since since September. Cleo always looks her best with Grammy Sarah!! 💞

Cleo passed her eye exam for the last health test needed for her CHIC number. She has passed the 4 major health tests, now to do the others.

We also participated in the Breed Standard test and passed! Thank you Robert Galusha for evaluating our girl and to Kathy Touvell and Michelle Garmer and the Grand Canyon State Rottweiler Club for having this wonderul event!

Yesterday I showed Cleo since Sarah had to go back home. We were awarded Select Bitch for a 3 point Grand Champion major. Thank you judge Laura Wright-Smith for the honor!

Now onto our next exciting adventure…

What a weekend! I am still recovering, my legs hurt like hell, she is still full of energy and has the zoomies. 🤣 Conditioning at its finest for her, out of shape for me. 🤣 We showed until 8:30pm on Saturday for Best In Show! 😳 Talk about a long day! 😴

We attended a UKC and IABCA combined show weekend! 3 UKC shows and 4 IABCA shows in 2 days and she earned her International Championship!

Here’s how she did:
UKC: 🏅3 Best of Breeds, 🥇3 Group 1’s!!! (They don’t have Bred By group’s)
IABCA: 🏅4 Best of Breeds, 🥇4 Bred By Group 1’s, 🥈2 Regular Group 2’s and 🥉1 Group 3!!!

She even had the zoomies in the hotel room Saturday night after showing multiple times during the day! We missed showing in IABCA BIS on Sunday as they were running 2 hours late and we need to start the 2 1/2 hr drive home.

She might have been the only Rottweiler entered this weekend but boy did she represent the breed!!! We were the only consistent Group winner in UKC all weekend. In IABCA we placed in every group but 1. (IABCA only has 3 group placements)
