HSMC is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded on July 3, 1989 by a group of Madison County residents who felt there was a great need for a Humane Society in Madison County. The shelter is supported by the Madison County Commissioners, Madison County Sheriff's office, donations, grants, fundraisers and adoptions.

She has been missing from Hilliard, OH since 7/22 but was last seen crossing Roberts Rd at Walker in front of Brown Elementary. The family believes she may have been headed towards the Madison Co line. This was 7/24 at 2pm. Please share and help find the families dog.

🥰Our Purina representative, Chad, offered to support our Los Mariachis fundraiser by providing 🌮🥤lunch for several veterinary clinics in town on July 22nd. He contacted West Jefferson Animal Hospital, London Animal Hospital, Sheffield Veterinary Hospital, and Sunnyside Veterinary Hospital, all of whom welcomed the initiative.

Hello, I’m Stormi!

I’m an adorably petite mixed breed, weighing in at a perfect 33 lbs. I was born in August 2020, so I’m still a young and sprightly gal! My journey brought me to this loving shelter after my previous owners could no longer care for me. They wanted to make sure I was safe and loved until I found my forever home, and boy, do I feel the love here every day!

I absolutely adore meeting new human friends and getting lots of pets and affection. The wonderful volunteers here always tell me what a good girl I am and how well I do on my daily walks. I walk wonderfully on a leash and hardly ever pull, unless something really piques my interest.

I’m a somewhat energetic gal who would love a home that can give me plenty of walks and playtime to keep my mind and body enriched. In my downtime, I enjoy frozen Kongs, puzzle toys, and snuffle mats.

I always keep a clean kennel, which makes me think I had some house training before coming here. I’ve met a few of the other shelter dogs and did very well with those introductions.

I’m really a great dog, and I know just how lucky my future family will be to take me home. So, what do you say? Ready to make me a part of your life?

Meet Natalie

At just 3 months old, Natalie has two speeds: zoomies and unconscious. She’s energetic, playful, adorably chaotic and ready to turn your house into a chew toy showroom.

This pint-sized heartbreaker is still working on potty training (she will absolutely test your patience and your flooring), but she's got the smarts and charm to make it worth your while. She's jumpy, joyful, and unapologetically puppy in every sense. If it squeaks, she wants it; if it's expensive, she’ll nibble it; if you love it, she’s already chewing it.

If you're looking for a sweet little tornado with big eyes and bigger plans to steal your socks, Natalie’s waiting to wriggle her way into your life and run it—with love, of course.

Likes - Chew toys, chaos, and whatever you just said she can’t have. She also enjoys ignoring perfectly good rules, taste-testing household valuables, and pretending she didn’t hear the word “no.”

Other dogs - Puppies are generally really good with other dogs, it's going to be more about your dog wanting to tolerate the chaos of puppy life.

**In Order to adopt an unspayed/unneutered dog from HSMC, You must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "Foster to Adopt" the dog and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the dog back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**
