UP FOR ADOPTION: Those of you that follow our page will surely remember our posts on Sully, the dog with the broken front legs. At the end of January Sully was hit by a car, fracturing both bones in his right front leg and fracturing his elbow in his left front leg. When we first saw Sully's post from another shelter, we saw him sitting up on his haunches, and then carefully folding himself to the ground, front legs tucked in to reduce the pain. Fast forward two months when he was just not healing well, and our vet agreed to try a plate to fix the fracture. Here we are, two surgeries and 3 months later, and he is running down the hall to go outside. He will never be a candidate for walks or hiking, and backyard time will be more than enough for his exercise, but you will never meet a happier, friendlier dog than Sully. He craves human attention and interaction and will be your best snuggle-buddy. He is fine with other dogs and does not mind the cats here.
