Love this time of year. The cooler weather at night, less bugs, and some gorgeous sunsets. I had the perfect model for tonight's sunsets. She seemed to just be enjoying it as well. No rush no wandering just standing and staring 💜💜

Loved my kitten helper tonight at my lesson students house! Her name is Opal and her sister Nickel was running around too. So cute!

Everyone meet the newest lesson horse Barney! He has been here for a little while. We have just been so busy we haven't had a chance to give him the introduction he deserves. He truly feels like he has been here his while life. He lives with Casper and both of them are doing great together. I cant wait for all the students to get to know him. Welcome to Illusion Stables Barney, you are loved already.

Happy Saturday! Gorgeous morning of lessons and the afternoon spent on catching up with everything around the farm. Also Casper got his new bridle put on today! I love it so much and I think Casper will too. So glad it fits cause sending it back to the Netherlands was going to be a pain lol.

All animals have fresh water, fly masks, fly spray, fans where able. Inside animals have water and ac and fans. Now its time to take a nice snooze just like Mr. Hamlet. Stay cool today and check on your animals!

In honor of having my original business page back it seemed only fitting to make the first post about a new member of the Illusion Stables family. Everyone please welcome Hamlet the mini pig. He is 6 weeks old and full of energy that the old gals aren't so sure about but he has been so much fun. He loves belly scratches and cheese 😊

Beginning of a Dream

Illusions Stables is a new boarding and lesson facility in Winterport, Maine. Conveniently located midway between Route 1A and I-95, the Lebanon Road farm is a small, peaceful facility that both horses and riders can enjoy. The owner, Laura Hosmer, brings education and experience in dressage, performance and western trail riding. Most importantly she has a passion for teaching which riders of all levels will find supportive and encouraging. Safety and enjoyment are the two most important aspects of the experience at Illusion Stables. Horses here have acres of pasture with large run-in shelters, four times a day feeding, access to water from frost-free automatic waterers, blanketing, if needed, and daily health checks. Riders/boarders have access to both a round pen and gorgeous forest trails anytime. Those who can’t tend to their horses as much as they would like can be assured that their horses will be cared for with love and compassion.
