Healing Horses "One child at a time" Inc. Rescue, rehabilitate, adopt & provide sanctuary to abandoned, abused & neglected horses. Currently we can house up to 20 horses.

Use the horses in sanctuary to teach life skills to special needs & at risk teens at no charge, aide terminally ill senior citizens & veterans through interaction Some of our horses are permanent residents due to age & disabilities. So had another scammer today on social media. I sent 5000 to your charity, please go check. I'm like okie dokie, knowing nothing but distrust now. Of course it wasn't there & with Paypal it is immediate for Charities & verified. So I responded thank you Sir but there's nothing there. He said give it a minute & sent me a picture of a paypal message board saying your payment is complete for 5000. We will let the Charity know immediately. I answered well Sir they aren't letting me know🤣 He then comes back with oh wait, you have to deposit $20 in my account & then they will send it, because mine is a business account🤣😂🤣😂 I said do tell, ain't that something. I've been with Paypal for 15 years with a business account, a Charity account & a personal account Sir. That's not how it works. Oh yes Mam, please listen, it's not my fault they do it this way. Just deposit the $20 & you'll get $5000.

I took a deep breath, because honestly I'm angry & acting a fool because your angry & saying things you shouldn't say is something I try REALLY HARD not to do. So I told him I felt sad for him, that he was so desperate, or greedy that he felt the need to steal from a charity, or anyone. But I wasn't going to play any further. I didn't just fall off a turnip truck yesterday. So go play somewhere else, or do one better & change your ways, lift someone who needs help, live in the light of Jesus & you'll shine. If you don't go play somewhere else, I'll add you to the report I'm working on for the State Attorney General. And Sir I suspect you're in another state, so will request you be investigated for a Federal Felony for going across state lines to commit fraud. Silence is GOLDEN ;) Another day in the midst of the wicked & the desperate. The right thing to now I know, is pray for this guy to wake up & do right. But common sense tells me, he's another that would rather steal than work.

I truly had hoped to have enough rescues take the at most, half an hour, to message me the documentation of the scammer that has hurt so many rescues. Sadly many more were hit after us. We can't expect to stop criminals, see justice for those harmed if we sit on our backsides and do NOTHING. My hopes were to have this on the Attorney General's desk before my surgery on the 6th. I didn't want loose ends when my energy needs to be put towards physical therapy & hard core work that my doctor has said I will be doing to get back to the pastures & kids. PLEASE folks it's such a small thing to send documentation, financial harm amount & a contact number to do our part to stop this creep. He's gone across this country with his carnage. For those who think this isn't important.......SHAME ON YOU for not doing your blasted part to bring justice to all harmed. We weren't harmed, but MANY were!

Rescues that Andrew Mencher contacted, sent a check, tried to scam you, or caused you financial loss, please message me here, post here, or call me at 813-900-6305. I am contacting our State Attorney General to help me through the loops with Federal. Andrew Mencher, or whoever this scum bag is committed felonies in committing fraud with fraudulent checks through the Government mail system to several states. That's a federal crime my dear fellow rescues. I need a list of all that this has taken place with by this dirt bag. Alone we are but a squeak of a mouse, together we are a pi**ed off lion, who's had their passion of helping the innocents harmed by a dirt bag. Let's put him where he belongs. The Feds will find him. Florida's Governor De'Santis is very pro charity & we will get help. Going to the local Sheriff isn't going to put the dots together!

UPDATE: I've had only 3 of the over 40 rescues respond & working to provide what we need for justice for all harmed. Rescues this is a time to work as a team period. If you want to add to this, do something different, then speak up. Local law enforcement will throw this in a pile that NEVER gets touched! They don't have the resources, nor, with it scattered across the states will they EVER connect the dots. This is a chance to stop evil that harms what we all have dedicated our sweat, blood, money & TEARS for. Some of us for our lifetimes, some new. Let's share to those we know were harmed & get this done before another rescue is harmed. For small rescues that bounce a lot, this could close their doors. Every last rescue counts if they save just one life!

I've talked to four more rescues this creep Andrew Mencher pulled this on. One was for $20,000 & please wire him back $15,000. What a scum bag. I want 10 minutes in the wood shed with this creep. That's all I need for him to have a "Coming to Jesus" moment. I'm blessed that I wouldn't have fallen for the send some back. He'd have gotten the check back. But for those who get immediate clearance, which we always have for the last 15 years, it could be their ending. Please share the post pinned to other rescues. It seems he has hit over 40 rescues with this scam in the last 3 weeks. He wouldn't be doing it, if some hadn't paid off for him. Sorry sac of dung.

Fellow RESCUES HEADS UP!! Doesn't matter if you rescue horses, cats, dogs, or raccoons! There is a scammer praying on rescues & doing it in away that seems normal to start.

ANDREW MENCHER has hit several rescues to include this one with an email wanting to donate to our cause NORMAL

Mr. Mencher asked for the ways to donate NORMAL

He was given Paypal, our feed store & our snail mail. NORMAL

He emailed stating a $2000 donation USED TO BE NORMAL before Covid ;)

Two weeks later his assistant priority mailed a check NORMAL

assistant mailed from a different state than he claims to be in NORMAL

Asked me to send verification it was deposited on Friday when I was to receive it. NOT NORMAL

Check was for $4000.00 instead of $2000.00. Has happened before so somewhat NORMAL

Emailed him Friday afternoon & verified we had received check, but that the check was double the amount he had stated. Therefore, I wouldn't deposit until he confirmed he approved the amount in case his "financial assistant" had made a mistake, so as not to cause harm to him.

Responded this morning that he couldn't see his financials at the moment, but the amount was fine, to go a head and deposit & send him verification it was deposited NOT NORMAL

Deposited & my bank immediately popped a hold on it with a note that their confidential sources said the check would not clear. NOT NORMAL. We've never had a hold on any deposits.

Called his financial institution the check was written on & was informed with great empathy that the account doesn't exist.

Several rescues have been hit since March by this subhuman. His normal response to them has been it was a mistake, please wire me $2000 of it back. He hadn't requested that from me, nor would I have done that. I'd have simply sent the check back. If deposited I would have sent after the funds CLEARED. He's hurting small charities Kitty 911 was hit in March & on their post others had just been hit too. That facility is in California. Which is where my check was priority mailed from, with Mr. Mencher claiming to reside in Michigan. He & his wife "Emma".

I post this because deposited & immediately credited to a rescues account can be complete devastation in bounced checks, fees & great HARM. Please pass this along RESCUES!!!

It's hot! Going to be a mother of a summer, no doubt. Getting good rains almost daily. A bit of a bother in the back, but we sure needed the rain. Will be reseeding several pastures this next weekend with the help of a golf cart :) Thanks Stephanie & Fransisco

So it's the weekend ;) We are off to the feed store & Tractor Supply for fence posts in the morning! Then we'll unload & treat the posts for insects with a amazing product we use on every post. Then Sunday we begin digging holes & sinking posts.

We've had a good bit of rain this week. Muddy, but is so needed (Shut my mouth!) 🤣 The front pasture is bahia happy & the seeds are almost mature, so hoping another day of sun & I can mow it.
We will have to reseed 3 pastures, but don't want to do that till we have everyone placed where they belong. Do it with them tromping & it will be a big waste of seed & effort.

A HUGE thank you to Stephanie & Fransisco for bringing me a golf cart to use on the farm until I'm steady on my leg!! I have been able to drive bales back, fix some fencing, wrangle horses into pastures & hardly taken a step on un-level ground. What an AWESOME surprise
