This handsome boy is currently located in a kill shelter in southern IL. They have asked for our help as he is 10 years old and was found in the middle of nowhere. It is assumed he was dumped due to the location he was found. Outside of being so cute, this fella is also very friendly and smart! He knows sit and shake and gets along with everyone, including other dogs.
**Fosters through our rescue need to be located in the Indy area **

HOUSTON, TX - was adopted from this shelter on 6/24 and dumped in the parking lot 3 days later.💔 I am dog and people friendly but I want some love too💕. On May 4th 2020 in the Thurston Ave area police responded to a report that a resident, while walking his dog noticed pieces of hot dogs scattered on the lawns, upon further checking it revealed that the hot dogs contained nails. The Newport Police are currently investigating this incident and request that anyone with information contact Detective Patrick Walsh at 401-845-5775.

On Friday, 4/3/2020 at 8 pm in Dallas/Garland, Texas, these two blue-eyed puppies were stolen from a home during a break-in. The perpetrator(s) also took personal belongings. If you see one of both of these dogs on the street, in someone's vehicle, on craigslist or any NextDoor post trying to sell them or give them away, or if a finder is looking for the owner, please call 323/376-1663 or notify Cody's Friends Rescue at [email protected]. Do not confront the person; if the puppies are in someone's possession, call the police and get license numbers, description, pictures. If you see notification somewhere about them, please notify us ASAP. One is a Cody's Friends Rescue foster; the other is the foster's personal dog. If you saw this event, please call the Dallas PD and give them any information you might have and let us know. Thanks in advance; please share especially in the Garland, Mesquite, East Dallas areas.

Hi, my name is Scout! I’m a 10 week old heeler mix puppy. I am super loving and playful with lots of puppy energy! I enjoy playing with my foster brother and sister and I’m intrigued by the cat of the house. My foster mom says I am growing so fast and she thinks I’m super cute too! I’ve been working really hard to I can get the best home and live my best life. I am now crate trained, bell trained and potty trained. I’ve had two rounds of shots already and been neutered so I am ready for adoption from my friends at in Norman, Oklahoma.

"We took the puppies and dogs to a nursing home today. Since the residents can't have visitors, we walked the dogs up to each window to say "hello."

My husband figured out how to finagle the crate onto the wagon safely so that we could manage all the puppies at once. It worked out well because it was literally the exact height of the windows, so we were like the drive-thru puppies

Two 3-month-old terrier mixes that will soon be up for adoption at a San Diego shelter have a unique bond: one is deaf and nearly blind, and her brother is her guide.

When a litter of eight arrived at Helen Woodward Animal Center from Heart of Lousiana at the animal center on Feb. 11, staff quickly realized that Star had special needs. While most of her brothers and sisters played without her, her brother Denver chose her as his main playmate and kept an eye on her. The two are rarely seen apart, and when separated, Denver goes back to Star and lets her know he is there.

This 12 week old Newfie puppy has been vomiting and lethargic. Tests show severe anemia and bleeding into the abdomen. An emergency ultrasound shows a suspected torsion of the liver which is where it flips on itself cutting off blood supply and making it bleed.

We are literally on the phone with the ER letting them know if we can save her. The puppy must go in for surgery today or she will have to be humanely euthanized today. TAF committing to covering the puppy’s $8,500-$10,000 surgery is the only thing keeping her from being put to sleep right now.
