Village Vet Clinic is looking for a Part-Time Technician Assistant to join our team!
This is an ideal entry-level position for students or individuals that are interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine and looking to build their technical skills in a clinical setting. Duties and responsibilities would include:
•Assist licensed veterinary technicians and veterinarian assistants during patient care
•Prepare patient samples for diagnostics
•Provide safe and effective patient restraint
•Disinfect exam rooms and equipment between appointments
•Sterilize surgical tools and maintain operating room cleanliness
•Provide patient care by walking, feeding, and cleaning treatment areas
•Observe veterinary procedures and daily operations
