Beeswax candles have been used for ages to light homes, but here are some benefits to using beeswax candles you may not already know.

Solid beeswax candles burn longer than regular paraffin or soy candles.
Why? Because beeswax is harder, denser, and has a higher melting point than other types of candle wax.
Paraffin candles are made from petroleum-based wax that has a melting temperature of 99°F and soy wax candles have a melting temperature of around 127°F. Beeswax has a melting point around 145°F, making it burn much slower than the others.

Beeswax candles pull toxins from the air. As beeswax candles burn, they pull toxins as they ionize the air. Negative ions bind with toxins, which helps remove them from the air, providing a cleaner environment for you and your family.

Soot free. Beeswax candles burn cleanly and have no added fragrances or colorings. The smell of a beeswax candle is subtle and smells like honey.

How do you know if your candle is really pure beeswax!? Over time, real beeswax creates a little white "beeswax bloom" or sheen. It's totally natural and a way to tell if the candle is really pure beeswax. The white bloom is caused by the oils in the candle coming to the surface. That white film doesn't harm the candle, and in some cases it can give it a cool look. (Don't worry, this can easily be removed too by rubbing it with a cloth)
